I'm drinking with you... just not as much as I did the other night! It's hard enough having to get into this TALL bed and being shy of 5'... running from the door and jumping on the bed usually works. That night, I only made it half way onto the bed, and couldn't stop laughing!

Hiding the Ghost in the lemonade and drinking through a straw may not have been a smart thing to do, but I'm still grinning thinking about not making it into the bed the first try!
 
I'm drinking....just got home a few hours ago...was enjoying the comforts of being done with a work trip.

Just had a shot and enjoying some beers......gotta rest and relax properly.

Welcome home!! Hope your trip was good, even if it was work related!

I was laughing too hard to even finish crawling in bed, so I had to start over again, hoping I'd make it. :D

Ghost is a white whiskey made by Jim Beam. The store was out of my Red Stag, and the guy insisted I'd like this. I put it in lemonade just like the RS, but drank 3 of them pretty fast. I usually only have 1. :rolleyes:

Thank you. One must do what is necessary for work at times, but it is a simple, yet wonderful comfort to sleep in my own bed. Had a great time.....on the last day, we stopped by a Harley shop...besides awesome bikes there, they had a train engine styled in the HD colors out front and a small museum of various HD related items on the 2nd floor.

*chuckles heartily* Ok...that is almost too much....and I shall repeat....totally adorkable. Glad you eventually made it. Have you considered putting a small step stool by your side of the bed?

Really.....never heard that and i enjoy Jim Bean now and again. Sounds like a good summer drink....but then again, just about anything with lemonade does.

That HD shop sounds pretty interesting. I love to see how things have changed through the years, or see some of the items they've put their emblem on. I'm eating a cookie so my mind wonders if they ever made a miniature motorcycle cookie jar. :eek:

I haven't thought of a step, it isn't my home and space is tight. Sigh. I suppose I'll just have to stick to one drink. There goes all my fun! :cool:

It is a very refreshing, light drink. It makes it very easy to drink quickly, though, so watch out!

What's your 'go to' drink?

It was....I mean, I am a huge Harley fan and hope to own a hog one day, but for now, it is nice to look at the different rides. And yes...the memorabilia is nice too. One thing that blew my mind was the HD pool table. And I can't recall 100%, but I do believe that they have a motorcycle cookie car......with all the things that get made into one, i'd be more surprised to find out that they -didn't- make one.

Well they do have small step stools that you can put under the bed, if you're able to. But you'd want to check with the homeowner first....shouldn't be a problem, but as a guest, you don't want to inadvertently offend.

Oooooooh boy.....those drinks that taste too damned good/you can't really taste the alcohol can be quite dangerous indeed.

And that is a helluva question.....best way to answer would be to say I'm usually a beer drinker, although in summer I do prefer making mixed drinks.....Firefly lemonade, iced tea or lemonade iced tea vodka mixed with the proper counterpart is great to beat a hot day.....as for shots, either straight Jack Daniels, Gentleman Jack or a few car bombs to get me through the night.

In short.....whatever suits my mood at the time. lol.

And slainte to anyone reading this....drinking or not.
 
I'd been hoarding a bottle of Glenmorangie for a week.
I'm now on my 4th double glass.

Those Sixteen Men Of Tain know their single malt too well.
 
I, in an attempt to imbibe sometime during this weekend, got a 4 pack of fuzzy navel wine coolers. I have to be up at 0430 so I needed something that won't make me hungover.

Man, this is lame.

I think, for the fall, I will explore scotch again.

Not a fan at all. I'm told it's an acquired taste. My dad drank scotch.

I am having my second Stella now.

I took a huge nap today and need to mellow out.
