The Trump Campaign #2: The Best Thread On The GB, Believe Me

And so many people must be wrong! Like Trompers are known to be enlightened and educated!

How will Donald handle losing the election?

Here's what he said about the Republican nomination:

"They fight like hell for six months, and they're saying horrible things, the worst things you can imagine," Trump said. "And then one of them loses, one of them wins. And the one who loses says, 'I just want to congratulate my opponent. He is a brilliant man, he'll be a great governor or president or whatever.'"

He continued: "I'm not sure you're ever going to see me there. I don't think I'm going to lose, but if I do, I don't think you're ever going to see me again, folks. I think I'll go to Turnberry and play golf or something."
And here's what he said about the Presidential race:

8/11/16

"I'm a truth teller. All I do is tell the truth," Trump said on "Squawk Box" in a phone interview. "And if at the end of 90 days, I've fallen short ... it's OK. I go back to a very good way of life."

"I think we're going to have victory, but we'll see," Trump said. "At the end its either going to work or I'm going to, you know, I'm going to have a very, very nice long vacation."

A proper politician would congratulate their opponent and then inform them that they would continue the fight from across the floor to make sure their opponent kept their word. As GoP candidate he should be assuming the lead in the GoP. He will just walk away and go play golf. Hardly a committed proponent of Republican values.

Havent we, the American people, had ENOUGH of the Clintons? You want more?

Are there any young, talented people considering a run for office? With, lets say, limited junk in their past?

I read something this morning that resonated. Democrats vote for a cause and as long as the face reflects the cause, then nothing can impeach it.

Right...

Nobody will seriously engage you in any sort of discussion unless they like the equivalent of rhetorical nails on a chalkboard.

Sure, it's that. It's not the fact that YOU can't handle a discussion on a topic you bring up with anyone.

You're going to honestly say this is only a Democrat problem after what Trump has being doing these past few months. You're going to honestly say that after you've been making fun of man made climate change for years but are voting for a candidate that says it's real.

I'm not about to enter into a discussion with you based on past experience of your stupidity.

I engage in conversation with all sorts of other people, but I'm not putting up with your passive-aggresive tactics such as your first post of the morning in this thread.

Go put on your clown suit and get out and stalk some innocent neighborhood.

Oh, I think he's said numerous completely disqualifying things prior to this. This has mostly been overshadowed now, but earlier on Friday he came out and said that in his opinion, the Central Park Five, who he had once called upon to be executed and who were exonerated by DNA evidence years ago, were nonetheless still guilty. That's no less disgusting that saying that sexual assault is one's right as a famous man.

I think they were clinging to the hope that they could actually win this thing if only they could make headway with white, suburban, educated women.

your insults suck as much as your debating skills bro!

Tonight's debate is the turning point. Does Tromp out-talk HRC? Does he self-destruct? Will he loudly fart? Does the town-hall audience laugh at him? Does he whip out a pistol and shoot her, or them, or himself? Will an asteroid fall on the site and relieve us of this onerous choice?

Count nothing out. I've been involved in prez campaigns since Goldwater '64. This is the weirdest ever. Last mainstream candidate I voted for was Carter '76. Last I worked for was Jerry Brown '92. All the hate-fear-lies media since Reagan's FCC shitcanned the Fairness Doctrine have twisted the nation, made hate-fear-lies mainstream. Bullshit rules. Tromp rides the reality-free bubble and threatens insurrection if he bobbles. These be perilous times, folks.

Maybe I'll die before election day. Then it won't bother me.

At least my go-to move is not the fallacy of false equivalency...

Your "go-to moves" are usually Appeal to Emotion, Hasty Generalizations and Slippery Slope. False Equivalency is in your top five, though, and is usually used to defend Donald J. Trump.

You really ought to look into trademarking the phrase "but...but...Clinton!"
