It will take a very, very, very long time to build the wall that way. Most illegals make very little money even working two or three jobs. The tax income of very little money is very little.

However, a certain self-proclaimed billionaire could afford to pay for the wall himself and still have several billion dollars left over. I assume that is his plan, to have HIS construction company build the wall so that the funding would go into his pocket. Then when the wall doesn't work, and we all know it won't, then he can claim it as a failure and get a tax write off.
