Good morning Texas!

I relocated the half dead birthday balloon bouquet and the bag of trash out to the back of the truck this morning and it was chilly outside. Still not quite sure how I feel to be saying goodbye to summer.

I'm feeling the long-ass stretch at work and slept the sleep of one exhausted.
I really hate the swing shifts, but what the hell, paychecks arrive on time and don't bounce...

Hugs to you on your long work week.. I'll be right there in a couple of weeks..

I got a giggle out of the paycheck thing.. I once worked for a hotel that had that issue. I was the day shift front desk and stuck there until my shift ended at 3:30 so the manager would hold the paychecks for the maids and maintenance staff until I got off so I had a fighting chance to get my check cashed.. There never seemed to be enough money in the business account to cover all the checks every pay
period.. the first 7 or 8 employees in line at the bank got paid on time. Those at the end of the line had to wait a day or so for the owner to transfer more money.. She always blamed the bank but hell, if you know how much payroll is and you transfer the money out of the operating account into the payroll account, you should know how much is going to be needed and transfer it..lol.

Not for everyone!

For those living in the far western pacific, the new moon will be Oct 1, which means their Black Moon will be Oct 30.

For those living in eastern Oz (east coast of Australia) and New Zealand, their Black Moon will be extra spooky, because it will happen on Halloween!

One more farging day to go. And as an extra special bonus, I'm working the early shift tomorrow. :/

That means I won't get to sleep in and recharge fully, or likely even have time to make and consume a mug o'tea.

I predict I'm going to be one tired, grouchy bear tomorrow evening. Perhaps I'll have the energy to drink wine and do laundry, so Friday I'll only have to run a few errands, but otherwise have the entire day (which is supposed to be just lovely in every regard) to enjoy.

Ah, to dream...

Okay, I want a shower before the fade hits.

Good morning all. Happy Friday Eve. These schools nowadays try to get money sooooo many ways. We had the catalog of goodies to sell. Now, they have each kid getting a website and people csn donate. Its a read a thon. Crazy!

Good morning Texas! I slept late and am lazing my way into starting my day.. I think it is time to get back over to the gym and swim a few laps..
 
Definitely loving this weather. Trying not to get to use to it.
