Here's How Donald Trump Could Become President

I don't think the average person knows the difference between scientific and non scientific polls. A poll is a poll to the average person.

True. And if Trump wants to believe he won the first debate, that's wonderful. Maybe he'll do that well in the next one too. One can only hope so.

What does my opinion about who actually "won" the debate have to do with what's being discussed?

What else matters? So, do you? Do you think Trump won the debate? If you don't, isn't it sort of a waste to be going to look for polls that say he did? So you do believe that Trump won the debate then? Any particular reason you wouldn't give an honest answer to that question?

It seems relevant to me, because what I see is a lot of attempts to say a pig isn't really a pig.

Actually the only thing that does matter about who quote-unquote won the debate is the perception of who won. Including those who watched all or even part of it and were subsequently swayed by bandwagon appeal and post debate spin. This also includes those who didn't watch it don't really want to admit they didn't watch it and went ahead and assumed one or the other one based on what they would have imagined that debate to be like.

It only affects the eventual vote to the extent that it moves the polls.

Most people that watched the debate had a dog in the fight and weren't going to change their dog based on the fight.

That's why there is a spin room after the debates. For people that just want to tune in to hear Sundance tell them who won but don't actually want to be bored with the debate itself. Such is politics in America with a willfully ignorant public.

I didn't watch it so anything I have to say is pure speculation based on about 4th hand accounts. Sounds to me like Clinton probably won on merits and Trump did what was expected which is bluster. Keep in mind roughly a scant half of the country is more or less favoring bluster over Clinton which I will charitably grant has substance. Substance that I don't happen to particularly agree with.

This election comes down to entrenched more of the same or PT Barnum.

Yes, agree, but it's only the perception of those whose votes haven't been sunk into concrete yet.

So, toubab, you are looking around for polls to share that say Trump won the debate, but you're unwilling to say whether you yourself think he won the debate. Interesting. Not surprising, of course. :D

Entire State of South Australia Has Power Black-Out Because of Climate Change Energy Policy

The entire state of South Australia suffered a complete power black out on Wednesday September 28 plugging it’s nearly 1.7 million residents, communities and businesses into darkness.

Loss of available power from transmissions lines feeding the region from other states coupled with South Australia’s ill-considered climate change energy policy of forced shutdown of the states operating coal plants to promote heavy use of renewable energy created this latest power debacle...

It's amazing how many Trump supporters didn't bother to tune in.

Do you know any Trump supporters? I've seen a couple of yard signs and some bumper stickers but I don't know any Trump supporters the only Hillary supporters I know are people that can hide their ignominy behind the internet.

What gave you the idea I'm going around looking for polls that say Trump won the debate? I've only posted one, and that one said Clinton did better than Trump in the debate. Personally, I can see why some people think Clinton did better, and I can also see why some people think Trump did better. Depends on what's considered important, the way I see it.

Oh, sorry. I thought you were this toubab poster guy who keeps doing the poll thing.

As I said before, I'm not looking for polls that say Trump won the debate. I posted something about the CBSNewYork poll to prove it existed. Period.
