Funk & hashy think SexyAlison is the ideal of beauty.
More clavicle than curves, yes?

My point being, Lady F, if you must set ideals for little girls, I will choose Ashley Graham. I have the same measurements and I work out. I'm just not in my 20s and beautiful.
Good points as usual.Funny thing though, her body is just as unrealistic as slender models. She's probably a good 30 pounds overweight, but the fat goes perfectly to tits hips and ass, still has a flat belly, no face fat, slender arms, firm legs.
If you packed on 30 pounds would you look like her?
Hell no! That is VERY very rare. You'd have a big gut and/or a sloppy floppy bucket, a chubby face etc, as would I. .
QUESTION:
For Magnetron and the other guys who keep saying that the plus models rock, whereas the thin contestants are anorexic and ooglee.
and who attacked posters who hold a different opinion,
Do you guys think that such an attitude will make it more likely for you to get cyberlaid?
Please don't bring BMI into the argument. There are healthy bodies that are considered obese, using the BMI scale. Other factors must be weighed.

It's not just the 'body' by which I guess you mean the bits you can see, but the impact on organs and systems. It's generally healthier for women to be very slightly over than underweight. And....as this progress the impact is greater, in people who aren't extreme weights for reasons like fitness.
I'd rather not have an illness than made an unhealthy relationship with food and control for either fatter or thinner. Poor woman, and her poor family.
Well I keep saying that this isn't about women from real life, and I'm not exactly runway material either.
It's about a show. And at least 5 of those 9 contestants (not Miss Runnerup) look clearly overwight to me. No matter how gorgeous they look.
Why start doing the same mistake that these shows did when they started, but in reverse?
Whereas before they promoted the skinny culture, now the subtle message that they're giving is: overweight is ok.
It's ok to say that to adults, maybe. But don't give this message to impressionable teens who are watching the show. Especially given this worrisome surge in child and teen obesity.
And there are better ways to combat discrimination against people who are a bit overweight.
If I had a choice of womanly fleshiness to crawl up into and wear like a catsuit,
it would be Fata's.
Eat right, get a moderate degree of exercise, what ever shape you end up with is beautiful.
No such thing as an ugly women just some more beautiful than others.
Goes for the guys too.
Sort of dumb, LF. She came in second in the Miss Italy contest. Second, runner-up. It's not like she wasn't judged to be in the running with her shape. So, it's really dumb to say competing/winning with a curvy figure will never happen. She came in second in a national beauty contest. Looks like your idea of reality is being challenged with some success.
Italians love curves and LF is a raging narcissist so I think the jealousy factor is at play.

Plus sized models are just as genetically gifted as standard sized models.
