Dear wandering,

If they're pics of stuff you want to do with the OP, post away. Otherwise small talk is always welcome.

Making yourself known or being noticed. We all want to be noticed but sometimes sitting back and waiting doesn't get you what you want. How do you decide how aggressive you're going to be? Does your personality dictate or does the objective?

I strive to click more than be noticed. I want the back and forth. The challenge. The tension.

So I cast my line (which is generally humorous with a side of 'what the fuck is he talking about') and anyone who wants to respond and is willing to keep up will get along well with me. Anyone who doesn't...doesn't. But I figure anyone who will enjoy me knows it, so I never send the first PM (unless they posted in one of those 'request a PM' threads. Then sure, whatever.)

Good morning. it appears that some had great weekends, and the bell curve of life would say that some did not. Are you a believer in net sum zero? That for every positive thing that occurs there's an equally negative thing that happens elsewhere? Somme sort of cosmic version of Newton's third law.

If true, would you temper your positive moods to help offset someone else's dispair?

I don't buy into that. Don't really buy into karma either which is similar.

I've watched enough Disney movies to believe in the happy ending..
which I hate to mention because of the way things turn around here.. but I'll risk it :D

I believe that things do happen for a reason but I'm not sure about your statement ....

If that's true then someone must be having a hell of a good time on my account!!!

Ricky ... Karma is very true and a bitch!

Wonders how surprised we would be if we could see everyone's "accounts"? Seems like a good three topic.

I don't believe in equal and opposite reactions in human bahaviour and experience. In fact, I believe the opposite. The collective happiness or sadness. So strive for happy and pleasurable and spread the fun.

I would, however, sacrifice my happiness for three minions, if it meant their happiness.

I'm not sure that I believe in karma or an overall net-zero theory, but I do believe that in most cases you reap what you sow. I try to be kind and positive whenever I can, especially with people that I may need to lean on when times are rougher.
