Asked for the way to Kiasma, a reasonably famous contemporaty art museum.

...in Helsinki, Finland.

I pointed him in a vaugely eastward direction. He seemed satisfied with the answer as he trotted off.

Should I have warned him about the swim?

No.

You'll have done us all a favor if the clown drove straight into the water.

I was once in the parking lot of a grocery store in Annapolis, Maryland and some clown wanders up to me and asks how to get to the New Jersey Turnpike.

It took several minutes for me to stop laughing.

Had a carload of Yanks come through town one day asking how far to the snow. I gave them directions and off they went. Straight down highway 81, at next light turn left onto hwy 4. When they get to 401 head east until the 400 turnoff and go north. Take hwy 69 turnoff until they hit 17 then just stay on that road until they see snow. I completely forgot to say how far they had to drive. As it was high summer I figured 4 days to get to B.C. from SW Ontario. Car was full, lots of extra drivers.

True story!
