In 2014, Knives killed over 6 times more people than rifles did.

It's not an anomaly. The stats stay pretty consistent every year.

It's a question of training. The army can take virtually anyone with an IQ over room temperature, send 'em down to Fort Benning for 12 weeks, and they can learn how to point a rifle and pull the trigger. Mass murder ensues.
