You just reminded me to do my tax credits thing. Probably won't get anything but five mins on the pc it's worth trying to get some money out of the fuckers.

Hey Sean, you just reminded me I've been meaning to ask you something about Her Majesty's Empire. What the bloody hell is "council housing" or "council estates"? (Hope I've got the naming correct) Is that the equivalent of American public housing?

Yep. Post WW2 most of them. Housing estates built by the local authorities, hence "council" estates. Run by the local council, rent paid to the council who were also responsible for upkeep and maintenance. Destroyed by Thatcher in large swathes where they were sold off cheap to private buyers to avoid the expense of the upkeep, the councils weren't allowed to use the revenue to build new housing so directly contributing to the massive housing stock shortage in the UK, homelessness and sky high private rents.

Given how much I'm not into that... I'm all for the thumbs up, and the negative thumbs up too.

Isnt it bad enough dealing with a 2 year old without it being stoned?

And reading the story... dude, lets break into the water supply and feed it pot... that'll get us off our positive tests!

Tru dat, yo.

Hey, if everyone is stoned, EVERYONE passes!

Again, my stance on drugs. The drug testing in the states is insane.

I care my Macca's burger comes out stamped by the factory. If dude producing it is stoned out of his gourd, and I get it my my mouth, I'm ok.

Sometimes I wish I'd know whether I'm supposed to be american red or blue, just so people who call me one could be wrong half the time, ish.

Nice break in the weather here in Lon. Ont. 27C and cloudy. Was over 30C for a week or so. Loving it.

 need to do mine, and i know i won't get a penny from it but it still has to be completed.

Hose the little cunt.
i'd sooner turn it on the bloody woman... kid might have some kind of problem, so i get he might drive her nuts, but answer the damned child, don't just leave him bawling mummeeeeeeeeeeee +lots of noise for 10-15 minutes before screaming at him. like the ones on the buses ignoring their tots in buggies yelling the bus down and they keep right on looking at their phone or chatting away on it. i tend to tell 'em to sort the problem out

Why not come to the countryside one weekend day instead? :rose: ( bit of a nightmare London terminal for you, but you'd be welcome)

Today we got a new dog! She is busy but delightful. She has to learn about not chasing chickens ( though she's not being mean, she could easily get them, but doesn't she just seems to like the running about ) and that cats are not terrifying. She's incredibly kissy, adores little guy, and makes very funny faces.
how kind of you to invite me to visit  i'll know my next month's itinerary soon then maybe i can come say hello. the traveling's not an issue, just my commitments at work and the at-homes though i'm sure they can manage fine for the day :)

how wonderful! what have you called her? and you know we want pics, right? :D

Thanks. Just finished Johnny Rotten's Sex Pistols autobiography (as opposed to his second PiL autobiography...sheesh!) and he talks at length about council estates both positively and negatively and I couldn't figure out what he was implying.

I grew up in the biggest council estate in Europe, so effectively the biggest in the world.
