The thing that bothers me is so many people swallow everything that's put out initially about these incidents even though it's been proven time and again the initial accounts are usually wrong in some respects. This guy may have had a CCL, but it's interesting that authorities refused to say whether he did or not, according to what I read.

That is what I have been banging on for some time now even before "THE STORY" and the gentle giant.
I posted some of the actual facts and statistics in the other thread from a researcher and the upshot was that those who believe in "THE STORY" told me that they had run to Laurel to get me censored because I offered up a few hundred words form a thousands+ interview.
As I posted earlier, the couple was not pulled over for a busted taillight, actual police communications shows they were pulled over for matching the description of robbery suspects.
OF COURSE THE COPS WERE NERVOUS WHEN THE OCCUPANTS OF THE CAR STARTED TALKING ABOUT BEING ARMED!
It's not even clear that anything was said about a CCL or a gun before the shooting. It's possible the passenger is lying about that. The cop may have simply seen the pistol and reacted in fright. Or maybe the passenger is telling the truth. We shall see.

It's all muddled and as I said before, I look forward to the investigative answers.
Having said that, when the cops pulled the gun on me, I was very slow and very explicit as to what I was about to do, what was where and what I was going for. I moved like molasses...

she was doing a fantastic job of preserving the safety of her child first and foremost, then herself and her partner in an unbelievably shocking situation, and minimising the trauma. her presence of mind to record what was happening will be the best evidence of what happened, and it clearly shows she was clued up on the need to get supporting evidence.
my hat's off to an incredible woman in this time of her loss.

So he must have acted properly all those other times, and this time he slipped up.
Or he just got his CCL recently. That would explain why he wasn't shot all those other times.
Again, an unnamed "source" confirmed something. Could well be true, but I'm bothered by all these unnamed "sources" being relied upon. Too many times I've seen "sources" turning out to be wrong.

How many times have you been pulled over? I've been pulled over only a few times in all of the years I have lived up here.
Maybe the list of the 200k some folks that have a permit to carry should be made public? I'm okay with that.
