For me its kind of strange in the sense that I write incest stories, love to watch incest themed videos and its a hell of a turn on.

But in real life I have never had a desire for my mother, sure as hell have never thought of my daughters in that way and have no true blood sister(but did fool around with a foster sister when I was younger, so maybe that is where the kink started)

I have been curious how most moms feel about this subject. It has always been my favorite. I do wonder how many moms would submit to their teenaged son, if he would try hard enough. I am now 65 years old, and still wonder if my mom would have, had I tried. Most males, young or old, are not very good at picking up sexual signals from females, so we may miss signals our mothers send out.

I have tried writing as the mother in a mother/son role-play but, never having had children or brothers, I found it very difficult to relate genuine feelings and reactions to the events in the story.

I also wrote as the mother in a mother/daughter role-play. I found that easier. I have always had a very close relationship with my mother and know her well enough that by tweaking a few attitudes here and there, I created what I thought a viable character.

Rape is sex, yet no sane person uses the term rape to describe normal consensual sex between adults. We have separate words to refer to consensual sex and non-consensual sex.

When it comes to sex between close relatives, there is only one term that is used to describe such situations, whether they are consensual or not. The primary meaning of the term for most people is sex that is non-consensual.

This creates confusion and miscommunication galore. It also results in my encountering people online that I would prefer did not even exist. There are some things that cannot be un-read.

Now I've noticed that some people have taken to using the word consanguineous or even consanguinamorous to refer to consensual sexual and romantic relationships between closely related adults. This avoids the stigma that the word incest carries with it, but these terms are not widely understood.
