Hey old buddy.

Until you mentioned it, I hadn't given it much thought. I was entered into the writer's contest this year (I did fairly well in years past) but had to forego it due to my ongoing health issues. However, I might cook something up if the deadline isn't too tight. I need to slowly regain my footing. What p*sses me off is that each time I see my productivity rise, I get sick again. As most know, it hasn't been the flu or fatigue. It's been life or death, serious sh*t.

I also want to get back into the habit of finishing older pieces if I can make the time. So it'll be a blend as I muddle through until the end of 2016.

That is one advantage you have over me (I don't mean that in a bragging sense, perhaps it's one of many). Not even once in the past decade-plus have I ever earned a W. I know there's a bit of bias against me, but nothing to be done. I look at my popularity & hits, plus my still-ongoing career as an author as a yardstick with which to measure my success.

I sometimes surprise myself with the stuff I come up with out of whole cloth. Nor do I write only incest material. I've done other subjects, but the family fun stuff still reigns supreme.

I am slowly starting to regain my craft. I'll take that victory any way I can.

With MVP, I've written 99.9% of my own ideas. Kat might have needed stories in a specific genre if she was running short, but the execution was left up to me.

I never would have expected, not EVER, to have written over 1600 pieces and for a decade. As long as I move forward, I should be fine.
