My family has spread out all over the country so I don't see them much at all. Sometimes for a few years at a time. I could handle any of them for a month. I dealt with their dumb asses for 18 years so a month is nothing.

We are actually very, very close. Live on opposite sides of the country, and talk twice a week, every week on the phone for at least an hour each time. We are always sending parcels - I send her gourmet yummies from Tassie at least twice a month, and she sends me gourmet yummies I can't get here.
It's just......... well, she's so damn SET in her ways, which just happen to be the complete opposite ways to mine! We clash, like fire-engine red and royal purple.
