(^▿^)۶🍸 The Spacebar 🍺٩(˘◡˘ )

My fiance and I are still looking at Colorado as a place to settle in. Although I'm still holding the idea of moving back to MI where my family is. MI has great places to hike and I'd spend hours in the woods with my dog hiking along the river or enjoying the peace and serenity of the woods. It's a pleasant place to be. Colorado is just as peaceful and then you have the mountains to enjoy as well.
Right now I'm in Tx...close to the gulf coast so there's not much woodlands around here and it's just always humid and muggy....uncomfortable. I'm just not used to it and I probably never will be. Plus, I really miss the changing of the seasons. Fall and spring being my favorites. :)

Plus it's...Texas. LOL I often joked that there are only two places in the world I never want to visit again. Cleveland and Texas.

I never realized how much I loved fall until I lived in a tropical climate. Now fall is my absolute favorite season! Spring is next, then summer, then winter. I appreciate all the seasons. It's why I couldn't move to a warmer climate, I need that snow and cold weather for part of the year.

I agree with all you just said...from the order of the seasons that are also my favorites to wanting that cold and snow in the winter. It doesn't feel like Christmas unless there's cold weather and pine trees. I never realized Texas has palm trees. It makes sense, being around the gulf coast...but it's not what you think of when you think of Texas lol. Fall is so festive and you can't beat the smells and scents of the fall....until Spring hits after a long, cold winter....the sweet smell of spring and everything coming to life once again and popping with colors.

I think Texas is nice to visit...there's some places I've liked and have enjoyed. I just don't want to live in this climate year round. :(

Morning everyone!

Sorry to hear about the bad man CC. At least he didn't get away with it.

Good to hear someone other than me is a night owl, if I read that correctly...

Summer is finally here, the days are sunny and hot! I am waiting for a plumber to show up to fix the sprinklers and a sink.

I'm still waiting on someone to come replace the flooring and put the bathroom sinks back in. You have no idea how bad an imposition it is having both bathrooms missing the sinks for something like two weeks.

Yes, there are some beautiful parts in Texas and Texan's tend to be a unique breed of people, some outstanding. I know a lot of Californian's who've ended up in Texas and Colorado, dodging our high cost of living.

hi All
I like the day after it rains, but not dark clouds, so maybe thats Fall and a half lol...

One of the nicest offices if ever worked in was in Dallas, well Irving. They have the mustangs running through the plaza there...i like TX well enough :)

have an awesome Monday y'all... and i do use "y'all" even from Los angeles...

Yep...I'm heading back to MI or going to Colorado. Those are the only two places I'd like to live :)
California was beautiful the couple times I've gone though. But just the same, I've never considered living there.

Hey Mr. Sweet 'n Sexy..:kiss: How are you doing? I hope you have a great day as well...:rose:

I've lived in the greater SF Bay Area all my life. Travel 30 minutes east of The City, and go from cool costal climes, to hear that just wants to suck you dry in the middle of August. And it only gets worse as you make you way to the Central Valley. The beauty though, is on the right spring days, you can go surfing in the morning, then snowboarding in the afternoon, and cap off the day with some of the best food the world has to offer. Microbreweries abound, the Napa area produces some of the most awarded wines on the market, there's restaurants that cater to any and every taste.

But I'd trade all of this in to move to Kauai. A couple acres, somewhat close to the south shores, 75-85 degrees year round, the trade winds keeping things nice. Fame the land for most of my food, and trade for the rest. Ola ke Aloha ola

Sounds awesome....as does living in Hawaii. I hear it's absolutely gorgeous there. I'd love to at least visit. I'd also love to go to Costa Rica.

Good afternoon everyone!

And Michigan is a wonderful place to live! :rose:

And nice to meet you.

Yep, pure Michigander here!

Awwweeesommme! I keep seeing the Pure Michigan commercials here. It's funny cause I don't see any other states being advertised right now for vacation spots...so I feel like Michigan is calling me back. :D
I just spent 2 weeks there in the beginning of May...I hadn't been back in 2 years since I moved away. It felt like I never left and the weather couldn't have been more beautiful. Yes Michigan

Our weather has been beautiful so far this spring!

And yes, you should come home! :D

I have the opportunity to go to California whenever I want, I will visit this summer. How would Yosemite and the Redwoods be in July or August? Wondering if I should wait until September for that.

Although I like to visit California, I don't think I could afford the housing. I am used to huge houses with lots of land. And I'm not a billionaire. I also like my space and privacy.

My first wish was to go to Alaska on a land and sea adventure but that needs to be planned a bit more. I'll go next August.

My other vacation is booked for fourth of July week in Wisconsin with family. Right off the bat staying at my cousins cabin on a lake. I'll be bringing the bug spray.

She will definitely be coming to Wisconsin! So much room to run and swim!

As for California, I have a dog kennel picked out where I can watch her on doggy cam.

And hello Kim Leigh and devilish!
