Good morning also to Tiamo & BC
I've totally lost track as well Shelby so a free for all it is :)

L:rose:

That's okay, I'd rather have a free for all with you anyway

Thanks, yeah I just put that avi up because I saw the Alice movie over the weekend. But... although it was a visual feast, I didn't like it. I even fell asleep for a bit. :(

Oh that's good to hear then! I don't want to waste my money on it if the reviews are bad. It does look visually stunning...I wanted to try to catch it in 3D but I'll just wait til other movies come out in 3D. I know the new Star Trek movie will be out soon, I hope that one's in 3D. :D

Good Morning Fellow Space Travelers

I hope everyone is bright eyed and bushy tailed on this fine Monday morning.

Good morning sexy beast. I'm getting there...even without coffee. :)

Did you have a beautiful California weekend?

Good morning all, and good bye for a bit.....have to get packed up, and checked out. So a  to all the ladies, a ^5 to the fellas, and I should be back home by tonight

Never, ever start the morning without coffee. LOL - that is a recipe for disaster!

I'm half charging into the day and half trying to convince myself I am charging into the day. It may take a second cup of coffee to get there.

I'm too lazy to make coffee right now lol....I have to start some chores and laundry in a few min anyway. I'll make coffee later and then put it in water bottles and in the fridge so I have coffee the next few mornings at least :cathappy:

11.34 PM here,,,,why don't you all go back to bed!

Cause we're not in YOUR time zone? lol yeah....that'd be my guess. Why aren't you in...futon? :D

Morning dolls! Sorry, I forgot to start the coffee this morning :p

Hope everyone's time is going smoothly today!!

Okay all you coffee delinquents, everyone chip in and I'll make a Starbucks run. I'd send our office assistant to get it, be she gave me the "if you ask me to do something before I had coffee you'll die" look when I came through the office door.

Morning ladies and gents. Pretty day here and I'll be headed out for a walk in about a half hour. It won't be long before I'll be having to walk earlier in the mornings as it get hot and humid here.

Yeah if I was a morning person I would've already taken a walk by now. But I'll have to get mine in after 6pm my time, after dinner when it's a bit cooler. It is high desert here, so hot and dry in the summer.

Morning tnman...I'm like you, if I run outside it's gotta be early mornings or late at night to avoid the heat and humidity....although here it's just near impossible to avoid at any given time.

Later peeps.

Have a great day BC :)

Morning TN, Dark, Shadow, Tiamo, Shelby, Micheal (good night).

Nothing is quite the wake up like fresh morning air. I tend to have my first cup of coffee sitting on the balcony, watching the world open up. It's more ritualistic than anything else.

Then the morning run, followed by the morning shower. LOL - though today's run was just a short fast mile or so and it did involve resisting the temptation to stop at the donut shop on the homeward leg.

We have a few people here that get quite a few steps in whether by walking, running or hiking!

Hiking is my favorite. Depending on where you're going solid exercise and relaxing at the same time.

We've got a fairly good bus system here and I live two blocks off two major routes, Of course, I work from home, so I don't really have to go anywhere or fight traffic, but it's nice to be able to walk out the door and go practically anywhere - while reading.

Of course, I then get to engage in a pair of my favorite things too - people watching and talking to strangers.

I love hiking the best as well...I miss it. I never get to hike around here. There's no places to go hiking close to me....and even if there were, it's always so muggy, buggy, sticky and hot. There's a boardwalk through a wooded area we sometimes walk at one of the nature reserves we go to....but it depends on the time of year. Aside from the mosquitoes, there are hundreds of spider webs that span about 4 feet across through the trees on the sides and over head...so, I will only go so far at that point.

Yikes! Just hope the mosquitoes and the spiders don't cross breed. Then you'd have flying spiders that want to bite you!

One of the nice things here is that, except on days of pouring rain, we've got many great hiking trails, both urban and rural, within easy distance. There are several urban trails that go through the city, weaving through interconnected parks, following streams and rivers. They're great. You get to see all aspects of nature - birds, insects, animals, fish, homeless people, drug addicts, and ravening boy-scouts. No two hikes are ever the same!

The people watching part of outdoor fitness walking or hiking is a plush in my book. But the talking can slow things down when I'm trying to focus on cardio. Overall I like to keep the walk or hike in the ninety minute to two hour range. It's pretty easy to lose track of time and realize you've been walking three or four hours if its a pretty location.

Thanks for that image. I may never leave the house again. There are spiders around here big enough to carry off a small child! lmao

I love hiking, to me it's both invigorating and relaxing for the mind and body.

Oh wow. I'm from the Midwest but would head out West as much as I could. I remember the humidity and mosquitos and the extreme cold that made being outside unpleasant for much of the year.

So I moved to Colorado, now I can enjoy the outdoors almost every single day, even in winter. I just avoid the midday sun in the summer and time my excursions right.

My fiance and I are still looking at Colorado as a place to settle in. Although I'm still holding the idea of moving back to MI where my family is. MI has great places to hike and I'd spend hours in the woods with my dog hiking along the river or enjoying the peace and serenity of the woods. It's a pleasant place to be. Colorado is just as peaceful and then you have the mountains to enjoy as well.
Right now I'm in Tx...close to the gulf coast so there's not much woodlands around here and it's just always humid and muggy....uncomfortable. I'm just not used to it and I probably never will be. Plus, I really miss the changing of the seasons. Fall and spring being my favorites. :)

I never realized how much I loved fall until I lived in a tropical climate. Now fall is my absolute favorite season! Spring is next, then summer, then winter. I appreciate all the seasons. It's why I couldn't move to a warmer climate, I need that snow and cold weather for part of the year.

I love it when I am hiking (urban or rural) and fall into that zone where you're just moving through time and space effortlessly. It backfires sometimes, LOL, when you realize you're way out there, the day is ending and you have to turn around and go back.

Big spiders are wicked looking things and even when they're non-threatening, I just give them a wide berth!

I'm originally out of Nebraska, where the winter is sub-zero and the summer is 100% and the bugs of all shapes and sizes are omnipresent. I moved to California as my primary residence thirty years ago and never looked back and a huge part of that was weather. I always remind my friends when they complain about being bored that we live in an area that draws millions of tourists a year to spend their precious vacations - and we can do it on a casual weekend.
