I think it has a lot more to do with mega bux funding her mega media campaign....fuck they labeled her 'inevitable' and have been beating that war drum for like 4 fuckin years.
Had CNN/MSN not been blowing her for years now, or pumping Sanders up instead of playing him off as a radical no chance in hell lunatic the entire time, I'm willing to bet things would have gone a lot differently.

I have no doubt that the media could elect whomever they choose. It kinda makes me skittish on saying what they SHOULD do and how. Like in 2012 I felt like them presenting Obama vs Romney as any man's race was something like a 90's ppv hyping up this as the guy who would beat Tyson. Sure it eventually happened but the other twenty times you payed 60 bucks for a 1:30 seconds because the media is never goign to say " Well kids, lets move on to talking about fiscal policies so you dumb shits understand it in four years.
So could they have MADE Sanders win? Probably. They made OBama win for reasons unknown. Would he have won a "fair" fight. Nope.

Not to say that they I have a firm opinion about how/should overall but I do think politics and media at the VERY LEAST, need to have STRICT and over the top asshole tyrant levels of separation.
Media/state getting into money circle jerks have arguably enabled some of the most destructive corruption.
Media and government absolutely NEED to be cut off from each other (with regard to money) more so than any other realm of the subject matter.

They are a business and are going to be influenced by what is best for the bottom line and they are also going to donate to people.
They are also going to chase the almighty dollar. Like it or not Rubio was correct that saying Trump has a small penis got him air time that he was otherwise losing to Donald Trump. Because Controversy creates cash. We can't really stop that.
There are various ways to curb it somewhat but I dunno.
