Are you starting with the very most basic stitch? Probably a poor teacher. Some people know how to do a thing well but can't teach it. I was the same, crochet around twelve but knitting only a couple years ago. Good teacher at the library and I picked it up fast. Don't try to just figure it out for yourself.

Day one: Wrote the story to the point of sexual contact. A horrible tale about a slut disguised as a wife who ups and leaves her family.
Day Two: Re-wrote the whole damn thing making her a part time escort instead because the battering LW is just not worth it.
Day three: Supposedly I have a busy day. I've decided to stuff that and finish the story because the next ten days - ten pages are just sex sex sex. I'm already exhausted just trying to think up ten different scenes.
Epilogue: Decided not to change my name to still-straving-writer decided to change it to deceased.

Since returning my other PC to service, they've installed Windows 10.

I don't want Windows 10. I don't like daily messages telling me Windows 10 will be installed in a couple of hours.

All I want is an invisible operating system that is virus free, hacker-proof, and doesn't get in the way of what I want to do which is to write and download porn. Is that so difficult?

I felt the same way about 8. I formatted it off my laptop and then formatted it again with Linux. I searched high and low for a copy of 7. I ended up buying a used computer that had the disk with it. Now i have it on my laptop and as a dual boot on my big computer with Linux. A happy camper am I.

To be honest I don't have a collection of music either. I listen to music on you-tube that is it. I'm not a collector of non-essential things.

I download. Like for a lesbian scene - because I have never been with another woman, I am clueless. What I imagined goes down is different to two lezzies getting it on for real. I download things I've never done, and then I watch it fifty times over to get the technicality, and the emotion and can point out the arousal in each participant. This is not without it's dangers, every damn time my husband will suggest we act it out so that I can get a real perspective. Phish! I also collect things, mostly cd's I never listen to, it's on the ipod and the pc, but I like cd's. And stationary, I love my ancient collection of pens.

I have inspirational picture's too, but I feel that they just cause me to procrastinate! When I write at my best, its when the characters and the world there in are completely my minds creation. Research sometimes dullens my progress.

Have you considered Win 3.11 (Windows for Workgroups" <ahem> ?

I think that there's quite a bit of Win 10 that I do not need.
(I do not like the term 'favorites' (and that is NOT how we spell it, thank you).
I have yet to discover what Cortana is for; it seems more like something for an intelligent phone might employ, or maybe a Tablet ('fondleslab') in case the user is either bone idle or disabled and cannot type.
Installation was fun. uSoft seem to have realised that there are those of us who really do NOT require "an improved advertising experience" and therefore declining this or that [ill-described] option is a must.

So far, it just seems like an 'improved' Win 7, but the Jury is still out, and likely to remain so for a while.

Best get a crack on if you want Win 10 for free; they start charging for it at the end of July.
