A good fit might not boost confidence but a bad fit can be a distraction for public speakers and their audience. I do like the tie, it would match some items I just happen to be wearing today...

I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice a bit of masculine adornment on your wrist and the solid timepiece, and then the contrast of your rugged hands against that fine suit. Stunning fabric, and lined in pink...
