Will only add to what TxRad posted that you're not going to find it easy to sell incest commercially. Best try with other genres.
But if you stick to the sites that allow it and build a name for yourself over time just like we do here with our stories there is money to be made on it.
.
Someone asked recently where they could get their incest books published and distributed and none of you writers of incest provided any.

. But I'm kind of in a pigeon hold when it comes to taboo. I can write on pretty much ANY subject, from any perspective. But when it comes to incest, I have only one specific interest (mother/daughter), and that interest has a much smaller audience.
Thanks for the info and the "welcome", TxRad. I really should get over here more often, everybody is so nice!
sr71plt: I've been thinking about "diversifying" my writing into more general less taboo erotica for a while. I actually have one erotica story up on Amazon, it's sold maybe a couple dozen copies and has a single review (4 stars, not complaining). I need to quit being so lazy about it and start adding work under that pen name to try to build a following!
And thanks for that link. I'm nowhere to be found (lol), but all three of you guys are. Most impressive!
To lovecraft68––or should say #4 (what a badass!)--even if I start building a mainstream portfolio, I'll probably keep adding to my taboo pen name. With such a hungry audience, it's kind of hard not to make a little money with it. Even for a guy who is nowhere near as prolific as you guys.

I've tried to write other incestuous matchings that I know will have a broader appeal, but I just can't pull it off... even for money. I guess it just feels to personal/real to me and I end up too squeamish to pull it off.
Anyway, thanks again for the input you guys!
I'm off to find the advertising "sticky thread at the top of the AH".
Oh. Nobody answered the question about the primary criteria for judging the Contests. The number of votes is immaterial, only the Rating matters. Correct?
