I've seen a few regulars post comments about fishing before , but no thread. So all you masterbaiters feel free to drop by and share something fishy. I'll start this off with a poll.

I caught this Oscar on a Crème swimming shad on April first. It put up a good fight on my ultra light tackle and measured around 8 inches in length.

Going for trout tomorrow and I usually use power bait for those. We'll see how it goes.

Need minnows for the decent panfish, not worth filleting anything under 10". Mess of Jumbo Yellow Perch from a morning soaking Emerald Shiners.

When Lance casts for suckerfish, dick makes excellent bait daily.

Ishy wishy for a fishy? A box wine makes a good lure at night.

My best days were ice fishing in Mn.
You had to go North or West to get the pound sunnies. I knew of a lot of hidden unknown lakes.
Nothing like the sound of a Jiffy digging in.
Sittin on a 5 gal bucket, one eye on my tip up, a beer in the snow.
Out there, the only decision I had to make was whether to go with the green teardrop #6, or the black ant #8.
I really need to move back there.
But damn, I can't ignore the cold the way I used to.
