Sadly Ms Emmy is feeling the side effects of the Chemo. She has been sleeping more and has already lost 3 pounds.

Only thing I miss is taking a long relaxing bath. But with the picc line for the chemo, no bath's, and hubby has to tape it off so I can take a quick shower. Ohh well....it will be July 29 soon enough
But I still have a non posted bath pic, last I took before they did the picc line last Monday.

I believe the last one is July 29th. Then she will do a round of radiation. After those two are done, she will get new scans to see if they need to do anymore.

Please hassle her to EAT. I remember when she would visit here she would hardly eat anything at all....and she is always VERY active so she is burning calories all the time.

The kid and I have worried about that for a long time.

Emmy has just returned from the City and got her Picc line cleaned and flushed and is tired, but willing to talk to me about how weird she is. This woman doesn't like Chocolate or ice cream!!!
She said that everything tastes "Yuck" but she is still doing her best to eat when she can, and trying to keep herself busy, but the being tired takes over once in a while. So it appears to be nap time. I did pass on the well wishes.

Emmy has never liked chocolate. (Especially American chocolate....Belgian lady after all) I still remember the first time she and the kid came to visit (The kid stayed to go to school and they were checking out the neighborhood) sweet little Emmy brought me nearly my body weight in Belgian chocolate. My magic bag was taxed to the limit trying to carry it all back with me.
