I'm guessing they're going to be melted because they are fairly unusual especially to have such a large collection of matching pieces. They took everything with the exception of the cordials, plus a few other choice/heavy pieces. They were all in a locked case at the shop that was all locked up when someone discovered they were gone. Time for some sweeping changes at the shop.

by shop i assume you mean the workplace?

I truly despise people that will take something of great value, sentimental or intrinsic, that they will reap a mere pittance on.

Stealing a pile of cash? Low, but not stupid. Ripping a vintage ragtop and ruining a dash to get a $200 head unit that they will get 10 or 20 for? Should be capital crime. Too stupid to live.

I hope whoever took it at least had a greedy collector to sell it to. Be nice to know that something irreplaceble might surface eventually. Meltdown would be sickening. The value is the work that went into the pieces, not the silver.
