In my experience, it doesn't matter what you put because barely anyone will read it.
Most of those that do will ignore it.
The rest will just comment about how the second half doesn't rhyme even though it isn't supposed to.

I prefer knowing hobbies and interests - namely things that I can use as prompts in conversation. But as I use Literotica more or less exclusively to practise my editing skills, I don't read profiles anyway as they are completely unimportant to me.

Most profiles are lies and bull shit.

I never sent cock pix I sent tight bathing suit shots and head shots that showed my teeth (girls wanna see your teeth). Post a pic of your car and a work place shot or maybe a hobby shot. Include a photo of your dog. Photos of your kitchen and bath don't hurt. In all the pix say 10,000 words about you, and none of its lies.

I used to have no profile info. Then I put a bit of stuff up, like general interests and a quote that I feel is apropos to me and Lit. I'm a pretty private person, so I figure that if someone really wants to know me, they could just ask.

I guess I could go into more details about hobbies and such, maybe link to my Steam profile, but I get contacted out of the blue pretty much never on Lit, anyway. I like your profile, I'm inclined to like you because of it. Profiles are bait to attract special others.

After a long life I conclude God gives each of us special gifts, and each of us unique experiences so we truly know what perfessers and most people can never fathom.

That's a great profile. Lots of facts and many things most wouldn't put in a profile.
Right off it makes us like you and that's important to having a profile.
