I'm really new to writing and I think roleplaying sounds fun too. Problem is I don't know how to? Like everyone says semi-lit or literate especially on the prompts I like. I'm assuming that means they write well or have experience. Before the roleplay begins how much is planned out? I think I'd prefer to keep it open-ended is that common?

ive tried roleplay a few times now, sometimes its worked out great and other not so much. in my experience too much planning can ruin it but when we tried more basic stuff we found it much better like naughty (woman) in school uniform getting punished for not doing homework or miss behaving at school, house/hotel maid not cleaned up properly and so on. we didnt have to much planned out apart from maybe uniforms, where it was going to take place and maybe how it starts oh and we knew each others limits too.

Based on how I roll play, mom and son, there are a few things you want to coordinate.
One person should always be the leader.
That keeps your story from diverging.Too far in the middle.
One of my "sons" likes to live in the moment.
He will pick me up at my house and take me out to a bar for a few drinks. He knucles, and kisses my neck and sometimes gives me a great kiss while we are sitting at the bar.
He will refer to me as mom in public.
Then we come back to my house and clothes start falling off.

My other "son" is into phone sex role play.
We have met and been together twice, but phone is his preferred manner.
When we play like that, he likes to reminisce about how we were naughty together.
We talk about the time that... And any type of sexual action or place can be added here to start the story.

I consider myself lucky because both of these men and I share genuine affection for each other. We can talk about work and family, as easily as we can talk about the skill of my mouth.

All we need to create our own world is an open imagination and the ability to share each other's fantasy. It can be a wonderful fusion of minds.

Thanks for that, might help me get to grips with rp, somewhat I have never successfully achieved so far.

What do you mean "can"?
Whenever we do, it IS a wonderful fusion of minds.

I don't mind folks here knowing we have amazing cyber sex and have shared very personal pictures.

Discuss roles, fantasies, turn ons and limits. A discussion should take place first before the scene or scenes start.
