What do you collect?

This is my first thread, so bear with me....

As most of you may know, I am a collector. I've been collecting comic books for almost 25 years, and also have hundreds of action figures (not toys, as I mistakenly have called them). But I also collect shot glasses, and oddly enough, business cards.

So what are some things that y'all collect? Is it a treasure childhood heirloom, an animal, or something unique?

And if no one likes this thread, I'm sure it will devolve into gay porn and dick jokes in no time

I collect books, it's a bit of a problem. Not even specifically books I enjoy or plan on reading, it just hurts my heart to watch old books be trashed

I've always been a collector of one thing or another, books, coins, comics. For a while I was collecting MC patches but that is a dangerous hobby. The one lifelong collection has been model trains, O gauge. With that I've collected a ton of track to build custom switches and all kinds of scrap wood to build my own buildings, bridges & what not.

I like old cars and street rods so collect parts.
Collect old car magazine.
Also collect license plates from all states.
Collect old hubcaps.
Seem to collect car and bike event T-shirts.
I collect tits but that collection is small.

If you are into sports people collect baseball mits or bats, hockey pucks, drink cups from games, old baseball cards. Pictures of old pin-up gals, old porn magazines.


When I was a kid I collected old match books. Had 1000's of them
Also collected old comics and the original Cracker Jack prizes.
Collected little badges and pins that go on hats and clothes.
Collected Lional trains.

When I ran off to get married my parents threw it all out in the trash.

The ex husband and I collected comic books.. When I had to move the kiddos and myself quickly I didn't have time to sort mine out from his so left them all behind.. Hell, if I had gotten out of that with the clothes on our backs I would have considered ourselves blessed..

I understand, but I have lugged my comics from Texas to NC, and back....and the collection keeps growing lol

I collect kayaks. I think I am up to 9 right now, with two more on my "must have" list.

I also collect GoPros, gotta have the latest when it comes out. Although I did not fall for the Session when they came out with it.

An ex-son-in-law had a Beanie Baby shop and collected 1000's of them. When our daughter dumped him he ended up stuck with 1000's of useless stuffed bean things!
Don't collect to make money, collect for fun.

Down here in Floriduu there are many flea markets and yard sales with junk everyday.

Okay for real, I collect thimbles. I have them from almost all 50 states (might actually have all 50 now, but they have been packed away for 10 years). I have a holder that is in the shape of the US with a little shelf for each state.

I also still have a huge Care Bear collection from when I was a teenager.

I actually collected old matchbooks as a kid. I was too lazy to cut off the match heads so one day...
