Rubio incompetence

Just wait; Cruz will propose carpet bombing them.

Cruz is a Canadian! Heavily disguised as a raving righty nutbar but firmly controlled by the CFIS. The Clintons have the Donald as their operative splitting the right and the CFIS has Cruz.

I am 100% sure that Canada is safe from Cruz missiles. :D

Republican White House hopefuls Rubio, Bush battle it out in South Carolina

South Carolina has an interesting race, for third place. While the two leading demagogues battle for the Wing Nut win, Jeb! and Rubio are the establishments fading hope to bring sanity back into the race. Bush has more money, Rubio has a personality, who will keep their hopes alive?

Republican presidential candidates Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush are locked in a bare-knuckled fight for third place in a South Carolina primary vote on Saturday, afraid that anything less could blunt their White House hopes.

With front-runner Donald Trump fighting to hold off U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas and win his second straight early nominating contest, Rubio and Bush are battling to become the main anti-Trump alternative from among establishment Republicans seeking the party’s nomination for the Nov. 8 election.

An NBC News-Wall Street Journal/Marist poll released on Friday showed Trump in the lead with support from 28 percent of likely Republican primary voters, followed by Cruz at 23 percent. Rubio led Bush narrowly, 15 percent to 13 percent.

The Bush-Rubio competition is layered with home-state drama: Bush, 63, is the elder statesman of Florida politics having served as governor. Rubio, 44, is the upstart understudy, a first-term U.S. senator who served in Florida’s legislature.

Rubio supporters were offended by the millions of dollars in attack ads spent by Bush’s Super PAC, Right to Rise, believing that the money would have been better spent attacking Trump rather than trying to undermine a like-minded Republican.

Rubio would have impressed me more if he'd kept his canned responses and "way out there" statements mouth closed more.

Can't imagine why you aren't a Hillary fan then. :D

Hillary is a liar. She has always been a liar. Who lies about sniper fire other than Brian Williams. She is a joke and the left endorses her because they know Bernie won't beat Trump. She is their only shot. The left is done for. Hillary should be in jail with the Great Divider in Chief (King of the Quislings)

Quislings are righty collaborators. How many fucking times must you be told that. Spend some time on the web and find a word for socialist sympathizers for fucks sakes.

Quisling!

Understandable that Canada would be viewed as a paradise to many US citizens though.

How many illegal aliens does Canada have? And how many are Americans (excluding Randy Quaid LOL)?

Would Canada welcome the twenty million "undocumented migrants" currently living in America?

If so, go for it. America will thank you.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal_immigration#Canada

There is no credible information available on illegal immigration in Canada. Estimates range between 35,000 and 120,000 illegal immigrants in Canada.

We have 1/10th of the US pop. So would need 1.5 to 2 million illegals to compare to the US illegal immigrant problem.

I think it is 35k we know of. But estimates say we have lost track of 41k. Worst case says 120k.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Canadian

According to the Canada 2006 Census, 316,350 Canadians reported American as being their ethnicity, at least partially. There are also between 900,000 and 2 million Americans living in Canada, either as full-time and part-time residents.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Americans

According to U.S. Census estimates the number of Americans of Canadian ancestry was around 640,000 in 2000.

Marco Rubio is winning the Wall Street fundraising race

Republican Marco Rubio’s presidential run has drawn more money from Wall Street donors than any other candidate, according to a Reuters review of campaign finance disclosures, shoring up his position as his party’s establishment alternative to front-runner Donald Trump.

The U.S. senator from Florida has received more than $4 million from the employees of banks and investment firms like Bank of America Corp , Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs Group Inc since launching his bid for the presidency last year, according to the analysis of individual donations totaling more than $200 each. (Click here for a graphic: http://reut.rs/1Q4ZisK)

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, who dropped out of the race on Saturday after poor finishes in the early nominating contests of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, came in second in Wall Street donations, accumulating $2.45 million in contributions, while Democratic hopeful Hillary Clinton took third place with $723,361, according to the review.

“The advantages of having the additional funding at this critical time seem to be worth the extra criticism that might come his way as a result,” the professor said.U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, who won Iowa’s caucuses but trailed Rubio slightly in South Carolina’s primary, where he had hoped to win second place, has drawn just under $85,000 from Wall Street employees, according to the review.

The support for Rubio was largely driven by donations to his allied Super PAC, Conservative Solutions. Billionaire investor Paul Singer endorsed Rubio in October and contributed $2.5 million to the Super PAC, according to the filings.

In January, Rubio raised $9,792, the third-highest total for the month in the presidential field behind Clinton, with $51,000, and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, with $26,000. Christie has also dropped out of the race.

Rubio is the 'Establishment' candidate now. Bush flamed out, Kacish is losing in single digits and Trump threatens the solidarity of the Corporatist Class. Cruz will draw off the wing nuts and Trump will continue to get free press because of his antics. Can 'Mr. Milk and Cookies' rise up to save the Republicans?

None of that, to the extent true, means she doesn't run circles around you in intellectual ability and grasp of issues, though. :D

We don't want sanity, we want a President willing to fuck over the other guys instead of us.

The problem there is that Trump will fuck over the "us" as well, will say he's going to do it even as "us" support him, and "us" are too stupid to realize it.

He's behind Trump in Florida, and its governor is set to endorse Trump, so Rubio is melting.

Yes Jimmy, Rubio is not the one who will save the Republican party from the Teahaddists or the rednecks.

Bring out the Fat Lady!

Fox News chief Roger Ailes says network is ‘finished with Rubio’: report

Fox News chairman Roger Ailes has signaled a withdrawal of support for Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), New York Magazine reported on Wednesday.

“We’re finished with Rubio,” Ailes reportedly said to a Fox host. “We can’t do the Rubio thing anymore.”

The magazine cited three sources within the conservative network, reporting that Ailes’ frustration with the Tea Party senator stemmed from a New York Times story published on Saturday stating that Rubio, along with Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) met with Ailes and the network’s owner, Rupert Murdoch in January 2013 to lobby in support of the “Gang of 8” immigration bill they were pushing at the time.

The two lawmakers also reportedly met with conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh. Limbaugh has said on his radio show that Schumer “explained” the measure to him, a statement Schumer has not confirmed.

“Roger hates seeing his name in print,” an unidentified “associate” of Ailes told the magazine. “He was appalled the dinner was reported.”

It might hurt more having that huge cock up our ass removed but that dick doesn't belong to Trump...it belongs to Hillary (R)odham. ;)

Quisling!

I will use the words I choose. Quislings is the correct word to describe our current state of affairs and those in power.

Utterly meaningless bloviation, Jack. Presumably you prefer the "progressives" who are progressively bankrupting the USA as they make this world putty in the hands of true savages. Back to the 14th century, anyone?

If you have nothing intelligent to say, why bother registering your "opinion"?

Actually I would prefer a Congress that will pay for the shit they buy into and not 'put it on the card' for our Grandchildren to be up to their ass in debt before they are even earning any money. If Bush had raised taxes to pay for his Iraqi war Obama wouldn't have half the debt that Congress has so far refused to pay for.

Before you blame progressives for over spending, you might want to look at the fact that there is no progressive element in power for over 30 years. They have all been corporate shills.

As corporate and thuggish as WJ Clinton was, at least he cut the national debt. GOPs before and since have transferred zillions from taxpayers to financiers. The record since 1900 is clear: a single party controlling all three USA gov't branches is bad for the economy but conservatives especially fuck things over. Note that progressives like big gov't so long as it helps people while conservatives like big gov't so long as it kills people.

Heard Rubio quizzed by CNN's Wolf Blitzer last night and Blitzer simply could not get the man to answer (word for word) anything out of the three talking points he had memorized to deliver over and over again. I've tried my best to think of him as the least unpalatable of the Republican candidates now that Bush is gone, but I just can't do it for someone who has said that God wants him to win (which covers Cruz and Carson as well. God must really be torn over which of these to back--and most likely doing a lot of upchucking in the process).

Dear shit for brains, Obama approves every budget and spending bill the House proposes. He's never shy about a veto of what he doesn't like. Duh.
