....but today I signed papers on my new home :)
Apart from the sucky moving thing, this is awesome news!
It has taken me almost 2 years to build back up after getting cleaned out (everything - furniture, car, bank accounts, etc) but now I can finally say I am back on track.
Now I just need to get my health under control....

Congratulations! Isn't moving a terrible chore? I dislike moving so much, I've even weaseled out of helping really good looking women move.

Grats.

Moving is great. Not the haul, that's just a chore to tick off. The "throwing away stuff in brutally unsentimental fashion" part is the bee's knees though.

congratulations! i hope you are able to find peace in your new space.

wonderful news! I've not been around long enough to be familiar with your story, but it sounds like you've overcome enormous hurdles, and that is always joyful to hear.

I wish you all the best with moving, settling, and most of all, with your health

I am quite the minimalist anyway, and every 6 months I get rid of anything I haven't used in that time (season appropriate!)
The op-shops here love me
I don't have a whole lot to move and have friends helping this time, so we should be able to get it all done over 2 days.

One thing I am really looking forward to is having a small greenhouse again!
Apartment living was fun, but I missed having a garden :)
There is only a small yard with the new house, but it will be enough to put in potted veges (I prefer having my veg in pots as it's a lot easier to protect everything against frosts and pests).
