Tilapia is the 3rd most consumed fish in the US.
In most of the world it's considered garbage.
Studies have shown it to be more unhealthy than bacon for the way it's farmed.
In Asia, they feed it ckicken and pig shit. Tilapia like poop.
Almost all the frozen tilapia sold here comes from China.
We get our fresh tilapia from Central America. It's no better.

And oh by the way, it is believed that when St Peter's nets were bursting, it was tilapia.
