Do you have a giant vagina?

I'm less offended by the plastic pussy, than the crap religion they sat it blasphemes.

Well, I don't know. I park my car in it when the weather is shit, but it's a small car, so you tell me.

Charlie Hebdo, anyone?
Anyone courageos enough to comment on what makes these cases so different yet still a bit similar at the same time?

That is rich considering the number of blatant phallic symbols most countries erect. ;)

Lmaooo… Look at the dumb on this one; no surprise here.
- He only revealed himself for the creepy troll that he is. (E50 followed me in both threads, and he's been stalking me for so many months now…)
- Those two situations (my attitude in this thread vs. re Rory)couldn't be any different.

Now: re "mocking religion"
I started comparing, in my mind, the two incidents (this one and Charlie Hebdo) and the issues are so complicated… Different countries, different values and attitudes, different types of responses etc. etc.… I was unable to commit myself to a clear view on this.

I would have loved to read people's opinion on these, tho.

As expected, you kicked a goal right into the basket here.

Different countries, issues, attitudes, blah, blah ,blah.

You mean two distinctly different, completely unconnected incidents?

Why did you even bring up Charlie Hebdo? Why not ask others to muster their courage and chime in about the similarities between the thread topic and say, the recent crane collapse in Lower Manhattan?
You were right when you mentioned bringing the dumb, only it is you once again, via your posts, who brought the dumb.

Please, stop trying so hard. We get it, you are just so very, very interested in others finding you interesting.

Regards,

E40 is 2nd (explosive typos), but always first on your mind

Of course they are two distinct, completely unconnected incidents, ya playground-minded fool… And of course the main difference between the way in which the 2 incidents were handled : was that the Charlie Hebdo incident was a hateful abominable crime and this one - not.

But that's how some debates get started, not only leisurely, but in all sorts of disciplines too. Take two cases to make it more palpable as opposed to empty theoretical talk, and then branch out. They're mainly springboards for interesting discussions.

Religion, besides the so called "neo-feudalistic or gilded age era" and so on are among the topics that are forefront on everybody's mind in this day and age.
With so many challenging dichotomies: preservation of values or traditions or even national identity VS. freedom of expression etc.

I thought that Liar's idea of a thread was really interesting and that it could lead to some interesting discussions among posters.

But it sounds like my suggestion wasn't received too well, so I'm off the thread.
