7 seasons of Nurse Janie...I mean Jackie...on the Flix...

Great show.

Nurse Jackie is decent - it doesn't focus as much on the medical side as it does the fact her life is a total train wreck. I don't think I've watched the past two seasons, just other things to watch/do.

And Edie Falco's character is far different in Nurse Jackie than Sopranos. I think she does both well though.

Thanks! I think I will check this out! It'll be nice to watch another train wreck besides myself! For example I'm sitting in a court house because: I was speeding 90 in a 50. The nice officer gave me a ticket for license plate obstruction instead of speeding. I never paid the ticket. A warrant was issued and I took care of that. Unfortunately, my DL was suspended because of it. I got pulled over for speeding again, and now I am facing fines for driving with a suspended DL.

And now I face to face the judge and my crimes.

I think docs like this are good to get people to look back into cases but I can't get on board with all these thousands of people wanting someone pardoned based solely on the documentary. It's a knee jerk reaction and that shouldn't play into our justice system. It's not like filmmakers haven't ever intentionally left things out just because it would ruin the narrative or goes against their point of view.

Halfway through so far. I wish that I could say that anything I've seen so far surprises me, but to be honest, it really doesn't.

It's an excellent show though, and hopefully will help raise awareness to people who don't understand how the media and the public defenders and judges are all complicit in the the crimes committed by authorities on a daily basis.

I think the evidence....or the lack of it pointed to a miscarriage. The illegal search of the trailer which was much longer than usual, revealed no blood and gave the cops ample time to plant things like the car keys.

I think the presumption of the jury, was that "cops don't commit crimes", when the reality of the US justice system, is that cops lie, steal, and commit crimes on a daily basis.

There is no presumption of innocence for defendants in the US criminal system.

I think the jurors, like the community, ostracized the Avery family for being different. It's essentially the same bull shit that put the West Memphis Three on death row. Small, insulated townspeople can be dangerous with their prejudices.
