I'm so glad that this thread has been resurrected. I'm a huge Dr. Who fan. I can't wait for the Christmas special.

I always thought that Christopher Eccleston would've done a great job in a 2nd season as The Doctor.

It's a good way to get into it. If you just want a taste, watch some random David Tennant episodes. But it's more fun to see it from the very beginning.

Agreed, loved him as the Doctor and perfect pairing with Amy Pond.
