Do you picture a specific pornstar/star when you write?

I'm curious if you sometimes think of a pornstar as playing one of the characters in your stories? I sometimes do but not always. When I wrote Room service I envisioned Julia Ann as the mature executive who seduced the main character.

I could see it down to the rasping of the silk hose she was wearing.

Can't say that I ever have.

Porn lacks depth... Feeling, even the stuff made for women comes off as less than real.

Nope, never an actor, in pr0n or anything. I visualize self, friends, family, acquaintances, etc -- fictionalizations of actual people in life or accounts. But not media performers.

EXCEPTION: I have a couple of DJs in one story, based on generic radio personalities, but they do nothing sexual in the text. Well, one has to eat live banana slugs, and she considers quitting for a radio job in Tucson where they don't have banana slugs; she just hopes she won't have to eat a live gila monster. And she DID have to eat those live banana slugs in real life. But I don't even know what she looked like.

yeah, occasionally, just for physical attributes and sometimes with a dash of their personality - as is on screen. they're all british/english mature women.

jane bond

wendy taylor

gill ellis-young (lady sonia). i've written multi-chapter scenes with her in mind. none of which feature on Lit.

there's a common denominator between all three (porn aside). jane and wendy in particular are down to earth ladies who come across (again, no pun) as real. they seem to genuinely get off on what they're doing. lady sonia is in a niche of her own.

Real people with three dimensions work better for me.

Nope, it really hard to get to know someone in the 30 second clips I watch porn in. :D

Actually, I really don't. All of my characters spring up from my own over developed imagination. By the time I write the story, I usually know them very well and have a mental image of who they are. They are never based on real or fake people. I have a theory that they are the people I want to know but have never met.

jane bond might be a bit rough round the edges, but she's got three dimensions. :D ;)

Rough around the edges is not problem. My type girl as a matter of fact. There are exceptions to almost every rule. The ones i hate are the ones that stay on the moaning groaning script to the point that they do it in their sleep.

I wrote the true story of a woman who hired me to write her story.

She was a longtime swinger with her husband. She answered an ad in local Beaverton, Oregon newspaper looking for someone to make porn movies.

She moved to Amsterdam with her husband and made 14 porn movies.

The story is posted on Literotica under my name, Confessions of a Porn Star.

Having been in the swinging lifestyle myself with my ex-husband, I thought I heard everything but she shocked me with some of the things that she did when making her porn movies. There were things that I couldn't even write for it to be posted here.

She sent me so much information to write her story, 59 pages of text, that I had to charge her a reading fee. Yet, I was able to weave everything she gave me in her story.

Only when I write mom/son stories. There are two porn stars who do a lot of mom/step mom themed porn who really seem to nail the part, so if the mom is blond I find myself envisioning Jodie West, brunette Zoe Holloway.

Otherwise not so much.

Want to add, although not a porn star, the entire time I wrote Siblings with Benefits I was picturing Amy Lee because she has a very similar appearance to "Megan"

If I were to write one, Racquel Darrian (in her younger years) would come to mind. She looked like the girl (you wished lived) next door. Later she changed to the typical porn look and lost the appeal.

Naaah. My characters are people I know or knew well, even their sexual activities. Wait, is Kim Kardashian a porn star? Kinda-sorta. I pur Kim to work occasionally.

^^ Does one of those stories put that trash family on a yacht that sinks far out in the Atlantic with all hands lost at sea? I might read that.

Nope. Most often I don't even have a visual in my head for character appearance. Especially true of males, but even some of the females never got further than a few adjectives scattered across the story. In once case I claimed the character was a passable lookalike for some minor celebrity, but that was for plot purposes.

I'm much more interested in what happens inside a person's head.

I'm very visual, I need to have them both in my mind's eye, although I focus more on the female, probably due to lack of interest in the male anatomy, but many women read our stories so I try to describe it for them as well, especially in my few attempts at something romantic.

Trust me, there are worse familys. I oughta post my favorite Christmas story featuring Trailer Trash Family.

I saw my physical outline this morning in the local market.
It was a very nice moment
:)

I've been known to picture Annette Haven, but not so much while writing. :)

Indeed. One of the classics.

Probably also more of a person than most porn stars. She was (is) known as a feminist who encouraged her coworkers in that direction. She had standards and refused work that didn't meet her standards. A line from "Body Double" is supposed to be a direct quote from Haven:

“There are some things I’d like to get straight right up front, so there are no misunderstandings later on: I do not do animal acts, I do not do S and M or any variations of that particular bent, no water sports either; I will not shave my pussy, no fist-fucking, and absolutely no coming in my face”

She turned down a role in "The Howling" because of that movie's violent content and she was a good enough actress to compete with Melanie Griffith for a role in "Body Double" She lost that competition, but was hired as a consultant on the role.

And she was hot.
