Do you picture a specific pornstar/star when you write?

I'm curious if you sometimes think of a pornstar as playing one of the characters in your stories? I sometimes do but not always. When I wrote Room service I envisioned Julia Ann as the mature executive who seduced the main character.

I could see it down to the rasping of the silk hose she was wearing.

I'm fortunate that when writing about a female character, I don't need to think of a porn star. I just look at myself in a mirror.

Even at 43-years-old, I'm better looking than most porn stars and have a much better body too. Moreover, I'm very shy, reserved, and modest too.

I'm the main female character in many of my stories.

The first rule of writing is to write what you know and I know thy self and thy self be true.

If it will inspire you, I give you my permission to use my photos as your porn star photos.

When I use an image of a woman I still fill her (no pun intended with my own personality. I agree that a few seconds of porn wont make a very fleshed out character so I take the details and use them while filling in the blanks with my own heart.

It's funny that most of the time you have the characters created in your head and then at times other "real" characters slowly takes over, like a dream where you know it is someone you know but she or he still looks like someone else.

I use the pictures of naked ladies to gain inspiration for characters I imagine. If I'm writing about red heads, I surf the web to get a RH model the fits my image of the character then pull a pic into my notes to keep the character in mind while I write the descriptions.

I found that it makes it easier to describe their nose, lips or other important parts if I have a picture. Some of the web sites have fifty or a hundred models on a page in all shapes, sizes and ages. Most of the sites will lead you to other sites with different classes of models, housewives, Matures, teens or Brunettes.

Just now I'm using Tara Holiday as a model of a 'scepter sucker' in my Mesopotamian Mess.

I used Jodie West as a character in one paired with another red head whose name escapes me just now.

That actually sounds like an idea I need to try JackLuis. To seek out images as you plan the story to have a base to describe the characters without actually reference the model you use.

I am currently working on a wall-to-wall sex e-book set in a Cape May gay male "anything goes" B&B. One of the owners specializes in named gay male kama sutra positions. The book will have in a note at the beginning the URL for a chart, with multiple images for each position, of named positions, so that the reader can go beyond the written word in placing the action in their minds.

I'm sure there are comparable straight applications out there. Can't be posted to Lit., of course, because of the restrictions on putting external URLs in the stories.

can't you grab the images as jpeg and embed them in the text. the story has to be uploaded as ...rtf, i think, but it's do-able.

You have to have the copyright or at least the permission of the holder. Then there is the matter of how explicit laurel allows in pictures with or in stories. Which ain't much from what I've read. Drawings would work if you could draw. Everything goes there.

Tara Holiday....she has a video in the mothers and sons series(step mom, I think, there is not much dialogue) but damn it was hot.

That series is well done, lot of slow foreplay, erotic, the actors do a good job of really looking into it.

A Jodie West movie clip inspired my "Think Mom's Sexy Now" E-book I published a couple of months ago.

And Ron Jeremy is an example of why porn was pure male fantasy back in the day. Gross ugly guys with hot women, there was nothing for the women, for the most part. They felt insecure while watching perfect women, while the guys could say "I'm better looking than him"

That's why women are into porn now, this was figured out and most of the male porn stars today look as good as the women, they have hair(and not on their back) they're good looking, look like they just walked out of the gym and in a lot of the new stuff actually touch the women and not just fuck them.

Now guys sitting there watching porn get to feel insecure. Not that it's enough to make many of them try to stay in shape, but at least the playing field is leveled.

I thought Amber was still in porn? Or Maybe it is Ginger, I could never keep them straight, but one is still working and she's in her fifties.

Nina Hartley is still at it, she has to be over 55 at this point and she' never stopped.

The milf fetsih has been a boon to a lot of these women.

I write about real people.

I do too, but NONE of my characters are based on a single individual. They are constructs using some characteristics from several people.

There is one exception. jeanne_d_artois' Fag-Ash_Lil in the story Unatit was almost wholly based on a real, now long deceased, local character.

A lot of pornstars are little girls, running from abusive situations. They start by dancing in nudie bars and then graduate to adult films. They don't have to do that kind of work, they can always starve to death.
