I'm younger and was wondering if there was any way to find a women to hang out with at night or just to meet up and chat?

The easy answer to How To Meet People? (any gender) is to go where people share your interests. This may require your presence in social groups where you must, y'know, talk and relate and stuff. Your profile says your interests are reading, playing with your cat, and relaxing. So join a reading circle. Volunteer for an animal rescue project. And join a meditation group. Those should get you started.

Now, about that life you're going to get... It's out there somewhere. If you don't look, you'll never find it.

Aww, I'm guessing you're not much older than me then. Find an excuse to talk, even if it's a smile and an "after you". (Well... I put that out there because that's an instant attraction point for me) Creepy is relative to whether the other person finds you attractive, though it helps if you've had an opportunity to build rapport. You can usually sense someone's level of interest. But... yeah, I find if I want to meet people and/or guys, I just have to go places where people are. It's attractive if you're pursuing something you're interested in, even more so if I'm interested in or doing the same thing.

Pretty much true. Most women have formed opinions before you ever open your mouth. The rest know what they think seconds after you speak. Appearance and demeanor rule.

Polite but focused, knowledgeable without being authoritative, and very good at active listening, will give you what you can get from words. Humor generally helps. If you get a girl to laugh, you're inside her walls.

Once she likes you, she'll keep liking you unless you really foul it up. So it's not as scary as it seems. You just keep trying until you hit it off with someone, and eventually you will. Just like most folk.

edit: by the way, this is the worst site imaginable to ask this question. Look at the stories. Incest, noncon, group sex.. it's kinksterland. Since 1966 most women approached me first. On one occasion a mom brought her 15 year old to the house to meet me. I didn't have a clue till my old lady said LINDA BROUGHT PAM DOWN HERE TO MEET YOU AND YOU BLEW HER OFF. I had no idea but I called Pam and invited her to the drive in, where I learned WILSON was a high school not a college. She was 15, I was 20. Whole different world back then.

I'm so curious if thats ever happened and worked. Hehe, that's story worthy. But for someone to pull off that kind of cheeky, they'd also have to be cute, and if they want to chase like that, they better know how because I'd reject them the first time for being so arrogant.

It'd be a little hard to rig a wallet to spill the right stuff when dropped. And wouldn't it be awkward if the 1s slid out instead of the 100s. But I'm sure she was being metaphorical; and there are better trappings of wealth that you can wear openly. Women who care about such things know what to look for; I've known women who knew what various kinds of men's watches cost and could recognise the expensive ones at a glance.

I'd grumble about stereotypes, but the reality is, wealth gets lots of women wet.

As for arrogant - there's a class of women who respond well to arrogance. At least, virtually all women like self-confidence, and the line between arrogance and self-confidence is a matter of preference. Women easily forgive arrogance if it's backed up by success and authority.

But this isn't helping the OP, unless he was born with money. When first looking for girls, guys pretty much have to make it work with looks and personality. Pitiable state of affairs.

It's a good thing I was only speaking for myself.

But if we're going to categorise women, the reality is there are different types of women, and some prefer style over wealth and you don't need to be filthy rich or even rich to have one. The only instance I can think of where wealth could be a deciding factor for whether a woman picks a man, is if she wants a level of economic/financial freedom that she cannot obtain by herself.

Regarding arrogance; I never for once thought that if men had a choice between self-confidence, doormat tendencies, and arrogance in a woman, that they would pick doormat. People, regardless of gender, will be attracted to self-confidence, in whatever shape or form it comes in.
