What has been suggested and supported by the majority of the American public is not a ban on guns but increased on deeper background checks. Violent criminals should NOT have guns, the mentally ill should NOT have guns, terrorists should NOT have guns. Why should gun control not be increased if it will stop these people from having guns but only make you wait an extra seven days before you can have yours? Yes. If you have identified a legitimate group that is didicated to the destruction of your way of life, political system, then yes. Nazi Germany is worthy of emulation.
