holy shit - what a start for a little girl

Poor wee thing. I just don't understand. :(

At least leave her where she will be found relatively quickly, and will receive medical attention and care.

I'd feel awful about this if it were a puppy. But a baby! :mad:
 
There are safe places one can leave a baby, fire stations and hospitals at the least. Who does this?
 
either someone who couldn't risk a birth being discovered, someone too young to know they could leave the baby in a safe place, someone suffering severe depression, or someone incapable of normal human emotional reactions for whatever reason, i'm guessing. terribly sad for the infant, probably for the parent. there's no evidence yet regarding who buried the baby - it might not be the parent, but a relative who wouldn't accept the birth for family shame or the baby being illegitimately fathered... who knows? just horrific, though.
 
This is disgusting. You can drop a baby off with no consequences at so many places, why would someone go to these lengths? I just do not understand how someone would be able to walk away from a baby in this manner. It was there for two days? Two days and the pos mother did not come back? Have second thoughts? I hope they find her.
