Can't really add much to fried noodles, other than follow Que's advice about the good soy sauce. Light not the heavy one.
But fried rice. Do you add those small dried shrimps? Tiny they are. Can you get them? I buy them in bulk at the supermarket, only about 100 g at a time, any more and they ferment in the jar in the fridge. Smells like low tide!
I also pick out the tiny crabs that are missed first time.
And you do add chopped up omelette right?
Chopped mushrooms? Spring onion? I have a garlic/chili sauce I stir into it afterwards for extra taste.
Costumes... parties... all a little passe. Halloween rituals. I plan on dancing around a bon fire tomorrow night.

No bonfires for me. We've had 5" of rain since midnight, which is nothing compared to the 13-14" in other areas of town.
All my firewood is soaked.
I even bought a tripod for my cauldron.
No cauldron, but lots of wood from cleaning up the yard. I'm thinking beer, friends, world series game on the radio. But that has almost nothing to do with Halloween.
