Hey there Literotica community,

I've lurked for YEARS and finally decided to start contributing. I have started editing for authors. My first attempt at this failed: I made a HushMail email account and got started on my literotica profile, only to have the account temporarily banned, and after some emails, permanently banned. They only pointed to their TOS which had a clause about no obscene material. I had the account for less than a day and the only thing I did was join this site.

I have since created an Outlook.com account, which has worked out fine. But their TOS also says you will not:
Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic, name, material or information.

I don't want to lose my Lit account if my email account gets banned. Are there any sex positive, Literotica friendly, email providers? I'm sure the odds of someone big like Microsoft nuking accounts due to sending dirty Word files back and for this low but I'd rather be with a provider that didn't have that option.

How would they know?

If you aren't a cheap bastard, you can always register a domain and pay a few bucks per month in hosting. An email account is usually included.

Gmail is fine. They read all your stuff and save copies of the pics, but don't worry about it.

Only if the domain host doesn't have the same TOS.

That language is in the TOS to cover their ass in the event they receive a subpoena to open your email account. They point to their TOS and say, "Were glad you brought this to our attention, because we don't allow that kind of thing around here."

If the police never mention your name, your service provider doesn't care what you email.

It looks like Gmail's TOS are pretty friendly to adult material. I might have to migrate!

Guy, nobody knows or cares what you're emailing. Believe it or not, they don't actually check every email that goes through their servers. Odd but true.

yahoo or aol
never had problems with them before
