Hope all is well. You want to scary, see what free health care in Quebec gets you. Experienced two hospital trips, and their standards would freak you out. Again, hope everything works out and you have positive news.

I hope you can get him some decent help soon. Can you get him to the VA or is this the VA?

Such fucking cunts. My mate who had a stroke the other week? Twice she went to A&E with speech loss, fatigue and numbness in her arm. Twice they told her it was stress and refused to give her a MRI. Consequently she has three brain bleeds and a full on stroke.

They don't listen. They don't care. It's all about money.
 
Sorry to hear of your father's medical troubles, Pointless. Hope that your hard work in pushing and complaining and kicking the right people gets him the help he needs, but of course you shouldn't have to do any of that.

Sorry to disagree with Mr Champagne, but I have had a lovely morning - a tea party first thing, a lovely discussion, some good news (in a minor way) and yet another gorgeous October morning, full of gold-red leaves, shiny conkers, and beautiful mist melting in the sun.

I never got the objection to MLK day from some quarters (well, other than the only obvious explanation)

It is a DAY OFF. Take it! Use it to complain about him, if you must.
