Destroying/ripping off clothes question

It seemed like the best forum to ask, so...

I have a BDSM story (multi-part) and in the future I want to include a scene where a sub (girl) is tied up and then clothes are torn off or ripped off of her. Kinda like Kink.com guys are doing often, but I want your take on if it's a realistic scenario between a pair or not.

A bit about the setting:
The sub is a girl, she's rich and she's actively seeking the BDSM stuff. She's the one who pulls her boyfriend into this, just because she enjoys the kink.
That's why money-wise it's kind of OK for her to loose some clothes. But I still feel it's kinda unrealistic scenario. Maybe I'm wrong about that.

What do you think? Is it okay to write a scene where a full set of clothes gets destroyed? Or is it just something that will seem odd and out of place? Maybe someone even got to do this in the past, or actively doing this on a regular basis?

Personally I find it strange how a guy can bend over and split their jeans, but try ripping a pair of jeans off your girl and find it near impossible. I think washing has an affect on the materials, new jeans are a lot tougher than older ones.


Some clothing such as Tshirts, dresses, etc. are easily ripped from the body.

Other materials such as denim are extremely hard to rip bare handed when new while someone else is wearing them, unless you're on roids and bench press cars every day. However it isn't uncommon to have a pair of scissors or a pocket knife handy. Once you start the tear the material weakens ten fold.


As for it being realistic ....have you ever seen a hot woman and just wanted to tear her clothes off, pin her to the wall, and fuck her silly? You don't think about the cost until after, when your unloading into that sweet pussy and realize you just ruined a thousand dollar party dress.

It helps to score what you intend to rip with a razor blade ahead of time. I've done this on the inside seams of pants, jeans, shorts, etc. I'm not into having my clothes ripped off me, so maybe I shouldn't be responding here. I do it so my clothes accidentally(?) get ripped when I'm in one of my showing off spells.

Ripping off clothing is near impossible unless it has been prepped to do so. Certain things are easier than others. Mostly you have to get around the hems. Even buttons can be stubborn when you are trying to intentionally rip them off.

Having said that, it's hot as hell. I've had fantasies where a partner binds me and takes a knife to my clothing including my corset (and most often this fantasy takes place in the 18th C so lots of garments to rip apart). But if any one actually did take a knife to my corsets, or even my bras, it would quickly turn from hot to tragic and rage. Even if they could replace them, the bras are hard to find and take some time to break in (I know I'm kind of weird that way, but I do need them worn just a bit) and I put a lot of time into making my corsets, so yeah.
