Almost All US Temperature Data Used In Global Warming Models Is Estimated or Altered

PowerLine is just another festering hotbed of deniers that should be crushed, ruthlessly crushed, by the Military.

this is f… g hillarious!
I had a bad afternoon and all I had to do was click on one of BB's links and now I'm laughing!
poor Jack Nicholson…

I like how the article uses data only from the last 10 years to disprove data from the same source when looking back 50.........

Anything to pretend rolling coal and dumping used motor oil in the front yard is a good thing~!

So, if you point out discrepancies and managed modeling, then of course you approve of the absolute pure pollution and destruction of the planet...

 Painful

The discrepancies are on the part of the deniers who intentionally are presenting a very narrow recent slice of data to mislead people into thinking there is nothing going on when if you take a look at the data for 50+ years it's rather obvious we are fucking this place up pretty good.

Now stay with me.........who is it that says ignore the absolute staggering majority of the scientific community, evil socialist Kenyan Obama nazis paid those elitist snobs to push this tree hugging hippie shit!!! Listen to scientist employed by BP, PA Coal miners union, cattle ranchers lobby and Mobil's scientist they say that's buu shit and global warming is a load! EPA is evil socialism damn it!!!

Republicans, because they represent the absolute landslide majority of the economic interest of those industries. Follow the money man...that simple.

It's no different than democrats who do the same for green energy companies, Tesla, organic farmers lobby, envirowarriors lobby and the EPA.

The political motives behind the denial that human activity is having a negative impact on the environment we all depend on so a hand full of people can get filthy rich make the answer to what you said yes. You are absolutely supporting wholesale industrial scale disregard for environmental responsibility by denying human impact on the environment.

Not that it matters, your side won....we will continue polluting, over fishing and clearing forest for grazing land as long as there is profit to be had.

Using the term denier means you are a Socialist lackey.

;)

I base my stance on the issue on the actual lack of warming.

As a religion though, I can see its appeal, an apocalyptic warning followed by an appeal to attainable personal action and a solution.

Just eliminate the best energy source and de-develop the world in order to be cleaner like those really neat third-world countries who operate on renewable energies like wind and solar. We should probably engage in some population reduction measures. Voluntary, if possible, if not, well sacrifices have to be made in order to save the earth from man. Maybe we should heed the Pope's clarion call to end air-conditioning. Hell, for that matter, we should butch up and eliminate furnaces too. That should cool down the earth.

:nods:

But by all means, blame industry, blame business, blame Republicans, blame George Bush, blame Iraq, blame the wealthy, blame the...,

That's what principled conservatism is all about, no? CONSERVING the earth?

Making sure our children enjoy a lower quality of life.

A more "natural" and pastoral life...

Deniers should DIE!

I know, it's as if the author slept through Statistical Analysis 101.

Then you are in point blank denial of the facts.

Do they not support fossil fuel industry?

Do they not cry incessantly about the oppressive socialist EPA making them clean up their toxic waste?

Are they not the representatives of animal agriculture???

On and on.....

That's what principled conservatism is all about, no? CONSERVING the earth?

Conservatism doesn't give a fuck about conserving the Earth, they care about exploiting it because anything else is socialism!!

Climate change deniers are as bad as birthers and truthers. It's an inconvenience or something they dont' understand so it must not be true.

Botany...

Are "THE Christians" part of your "conservative coalition" of deniers?

Because the last time I looked, the fundies and evangelicals are firmly on board for Climate Change because it meets all of their religious criteria as I outlined above: apocalypse, call to arms, and saving God's green earth and returning to a more simple, pastoral and poorer type of society...

But there is long term warming on a regional basis. The evidence is in the ground temperatures.

Yeah and regionally we just came off of a bad winter, a cool spring and summer, and are forecast for another bitterly cold winter.

I KNOW!!!

Let's claim the heat is hiding in the oceans only to rise like Godzilla and destroy the earth in a hail of brimstone and fire!

;)

:D

Uh-huh

Checks off obvious tactic, absolute knowledge trumps all else.

You just "know" it to be true, because it's supported by so many academics who are well-funded by government, so it has to be true. Never mind anyone who has been trained as a meteorologist, has a Science and a Math degree and worked to develop models for the complexity of the communications industry, because, you know, like DENIER!

Are they in denial because the facts conflict with their financial interest?

I guess not.......
