you may well be surprised at the quality of
over the air digital tv.
the "new" digital broadcasting is generally in true 1080 p
as opposed to the 420/740/flitered 1080
that ekes through standard cable and att/direct...

i have both cable and a digital antenna.
the picture/sound quality via antenna is quite amazing

if you happen upon any remastered classic black and white films
the crispness and depth in them over the digital air
makes them entirely "new"
almost jarringly so...
