I had some good tequila last week at one of my spots. Some group had made a mistake on a batch request and my bartender friend just slid it over to me.

Was too noisy to ask about the brand, but it hit it off nicely. I could still sense the aftertaste the next day. I could deal with just a few, but if I did tequila the whole night, I'm waking up in someone's backyard in the morning!

I tried it the first time a couple years ago. If I recall right it was Jose Cuervo gold, it has the smooth burn of a good whiskey but not the strong taste. I thought it was okay.
