Really? What was she charged with?I absolute do not trust Silly Hilly. I don't trust pols in general, but she is about the worst around now. She has been known as a cheat and crook and liar since Whitewater days.![]()
Really? What was she charged with?
So instead of a crook, cheat and liar, now she's just generally dishonest? That's an old tactic - going from the big smear to the little smear, hoping it sticks. To my knowledge, she was never actually charged with anything. I have never said she was. First, whatever she did that might have been illegal would have been beyond the statutes of Limitations. Second, Hillary was not the main subject of the hearings; her husband was.
However, the Whitewater Hearings did show her general dishonesty, which is all I have mentioned.
ETA: Here are examples of what I mean:

Your examples do not prove anything about Hillary's honesty. If they prove anything, they show that the smear campaigns against Hillary - ongoing since Ken Starr - have been somewhat successful in shaping public opinion.
We can point to actual words uttered by President Bush, and show that they are actual lies. Where are Hillary's lies?

Whitewater was a longer time ago.
There's this poster named Boxlicker101. His first post on this thread mentioned Whitewater. He stated that he thinks she's "about the worst" candidate because of it.who is talking about that? Her resume has been updated....

It was a bit more articulate than BotanyBoy's comment that she's "fucking horrible".
Don't you ever tire of being so dogmatic and consumed by hate, Box? Must be a really unhappy life to live.
DEM SPIN: TRUMP IS BEHIND THIS! Criminal Inquiry Sought in Hillary Clinton’s Use of Email. ” Two inspectors general have asked the Justice Department to open a criminal investigation into whether Hillary Rodham Clinton mishandled sensitive government information on a private email account she used as secretary of state, senior government officials said Thursday. The request follows an assessment in a June 29 memo by the inspectors general for the State Department and the intelligence agencies that Mrs. Clinton’s private account contained ‘hundreds of potentially classified emails.’ The memo was written to Patrick F. Kennedy, the under secretary of state for management.”
