I have made more money than almost every man I was in a relationship with. I do not like to be taken care of. I broke up with a man who tried to do that because I felt smothered. I am not wrong. Not everyone fits into the mold that you have formulated. There are many, many, many women who are after comfort first and will sacrifice true love to get it. All I am saying is that there are just as many that are not like that.

What has society taught women? Look to the past. Mind your manners, go to school, meet Mr. Right, have babies, take care of the house, support your man.

Not anymore. While all those things can still be possible, women want their own careers. They like to be independent. I am working a job I love that pays shit, has excellent perks, all the while with a bachelors degree, tons of experience in the business world. Why? Because it makes me insanely happy. OF course, I also have two side businesses that keep me busy and living the lifestyle I have made myself accustomed to, but the point I am trying to make is that women are not pointed in the direction of marrying a wealthy man and living off of them anymore. I am far from a feminist, I am a realist. What happens when a gold digger gets divorced because she doesn't really love the man she is with and he finally realizes that and he kicks her to the curb? She has to find a new man to sponge off of. Most women don't want this kind of problem. They would rather know that they can make it on their own.

No, and I'm not accusing you of being one of these women, but when a woman divorces a rich man, that's where alimony comes in. And child support. And she can also be fucking the man she really likes on the side, and saddle the rich husband with paying child support for the man-on-the-side's kid when they get divorced (paternity fraud). Again, I'm not accusing you of being that kind of woman.

But while I'm questioning your argument that divorce is bad for a wealthy man's soon-to-be-ex, there is a disclaimer to be said: there are also men who take advantage of alimony, too. See that dirtbag K-fed who's bleeding Britney Spears dry.

Women are not pointed in that direction by modern culture but it's going to take a fuck load more than one or two generations to undo EVERYTHING going back to the stone age. Most women still find security quite attractive.....180k a year will make a 3 a 9 real fast with the ladies. And studies have shown it to be about as universal as a nice big ass/bewbs make women more attractive to men.

Not for a while...most courts will award her a large sum of his money just because that's what family court does. Even when she makes more than him...he owes her for the privilege of being married to her and wasting her time. It's not as if he has anything invested in the relationship or anything.......
