AN OPEN LETTER FROM A MILITARY WIFE TO OBAMA ABOUT MILITARY PROPERTY SECURITY:

Dear Mr. Obama,

I have little hope that you’ll ever read this, but I have to get this off my chest. Since 1993, our military personnel, many of whom have had extensive weapons training including sidearms, have not been allowed to carry weapons openly or concealed on military properties. Yet on your watch the following incidents have occurred:

2009 – Fort Hood, 13 killed, 29 wounded–many permanently disabled
2009 – Arkansas recruiting station, one killed, a second wounded
2010 – Pentagon shooting by a 9/11 truther, two wounded
2013 – Washington Navy Yard shooting, 13 killed, three injured
2014 – Norfolk Naval Base, one killed
2014 – Fort Hood AGAIN–three killed, 14 injured
2015 – Chattanooga, 4 Marines at the Navy Operational Support Center and Marine Corps Reserve Center killed, two others wounded at a local recruiting station
These incidents, which resulted in the deaths of 35 innocent people and serious injuries to 51 others, might all have been minimized or even prevented by trained, armed military members.

Why is it that these men and women, who carry firearms on our behalf, whom we entrust with the security and well-being of our nation, aren’t allowed to bear arms on military bases in order to defend themselves and others?

Three Days Before Deadly Jihadi Terror Attack, Muslims In Chattanooga Protested Against “American Taliban” And “True Terrorist” Robert Doggart…

While this protest was going on Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez was in the city finalizing his plans for the massacre or four U.S. Marines.

Nice timing.

Via Times Free Press (July 13th, 2015):

People are gathering across from the Joel W. Solomon Federal Building in Chattanooga today to call for justice in the charges against Robert Doggart.

His arraignment is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Muslim groups say a judge’s decision to release from federal custody a Signal Mountain man accused in court records of planning an attack on a mosque in New York state represents a double standard and should be revisited.

Court records show Robert Doggart, 63, was released into home detention by a magistrate judge on $30,000 bond after he agreed to plead guilty in April to plotting an attack on “Islamberg,” a self-named mostly Muslim community near Hancock, New York.

William Killian, the DoJ Official Leading #Chattanooga Jihad Shooting, Previously Vowed to Criminalize Criticism of Islam

“We are treating this as an act of domestic terrorism,” said Bill Killian, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee.

U.S. Attorney William C. Killian said. However, Killian said that the investigation would bear out precisely what kind of crime this was, and he cautioned people not to get caught up in the label. (Washington Post)

How ironic that it is Bill Killian — who was the most reluctant official to speak at today’s press conference. William Killian is the Department of Justice official who vowed to criminalize social postings on Facebook and Twitter.

We held a protest against Mr. Killian, and thousands joined us here.

Killian should be removed from the case. He is incapable of conducting a sharia-free investigation.

Chattanooga Terrorist Mohammad Abdulazeez’s Sister In 2010: “There’s A Misconception That Islam Is A Violent Religion. Muslims Are Actually Peaceful”…

Her brother seems to have felt otherwise.

Via WaPo:

… Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez was born in Kuwait but moved with his family to the United States as an infant after the start of the Persian Gulf War and became a U.S. citizen, according to accounts given by friends and one of his sisters. […]

Another sister, Yasmeen, drew attention at Red Bank High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for proudly wearing a traditional Muslim headscarf in class and on the volleyball court.

Yasmeen told the Chattanooga Free Press in 2010 that some students harassed her but that she wasn’t afraid to confront people about their attitudes toward her religious beliefs. “I’m not afraid to go straight toward them and ask them, ‘Do you really know what Islam is?’ ” she said. “There’s this misconception that Islam is a violent religion. Muslims are actually peaceful.”
