“If you can’t take care of your sick in the country, forget it, it’s all over. I mean, it’s no good. So I’m very liberal when it comes to health care, I believe in universal health care. I believe in whatever it takes to make people well and better.”
Asked if he thought it was an entitlement, he affirmed he did indeed believe it was one from birth.
“I think it is. It’s an entitlement to this country, and too bad the world can’t be, you know, in this country. But the fact is, it’s an entitlement to this country if we’re going to have a great country.”
Speaking with The Advocate that year, He said he’d fund his universal health care plan with an increase in corporate taxes.
“I would put forward a comprehensive health care program and fund it with an increase in corporate taxes.”

IDK....

But the idea of increasing corporate taxes to pay for what we already overpay a fantastic amount on is fuckin' silly as all shit.

How bout we stop the bullshit cream skimming in the HC industry......shit we could cut the HC budget in HALF and still be overpaying by almost double.

But no don't even bring up the absurd amount of corruption, that would be a HARD problem to tackle........just raise taxes on corporations!!

Which is a funny concept in and of itself, corporations don't pay taxes, they collect them from consumers.

Caught a good piece the other night of a Trump now and then. It hit on several issues.
