How does that make me a lunatic asshole? You read a story online and decided you wanted to create a new thread about it. It's not fucking hard to copy the damn link and then paste it into the new thread that YOU WERE GOING TO MAKE FOR THAT PARTICULAR STORY! (Command-C, then Command-V by the way.)

I'd like to make the argument that you are, in fact, the lunatic asshole for doing that shit over and over again. It's just common internet courtesy, plain and simple.

Typically, when someone is interested in a particular story and wants to disseminate it to others, they put the link to the story so others can quickly read said story. They can then quickly come to an opinion/consensus/debate/etc.

You on the other hand reads a story and then creates a new thread to give your two cents about it. And even though you were probably at that story moments before creating your new thread about that story, you are inconsiderate enough to not bother to copy and paste it into your new thread.
