Is it ok for a 14 year old to see? My son is asking me to take him.

Depends on if you mind language/sexual humor. There's also a tiny bit of gore/blood. I don't know that I find it appropriate for the age, but every parent is different. I would suggest seeing it for yourself first as a gauge.

And today is soggy, unfortunately. Hopefully the sun will be out tomorrow.

I just saw a devil person posting. It made me think that we used to have a lot more devil people posting. I wonder why the (seemingly) decrease in using a devil name.

Maybe it went out of style. Like Ruppert.

It's going to be warmer in Anchorage than here. It just isn't right.

I blame it on those rocks we took from the moon.

Maybe they're retired. Or dead.

Or both.

I took my almost 14 yr old girl. Yes, there was one scene where she was looking at pics and dick pics popped up, I quick covered her eyes. Some pretty foul language too. She laughed herself silly at everything else

Statham was such a surprise with his character, I didn't even know he was in it.

It's also impossible to understand white fear of black bodies.

I'm done trying or wanting to understand, though.

It's completely senseless. I met the pastor some years back. I'm not a "church" person, but I was impressed with him as a person. He's gone now and evil walks free today. Hopefully not for long though.

I know it is a cliché, but seriously, people, can't we all just get along?

Iz do you honestly think fear knows color? I'm a white guy and had I been there last evening I would have been crying and praying with my brothers and sisters at that church too. Fear and hatred see's all the same: with fear and most all with hatred. The Arizona movie shooter didn't just shoot black people or Hispanics, he murdered anybody he could regardless of color.

The fact that this murderer committed these unspeakable crimes in a house of God...I can not wrap my mind around that. Those poor people didn't die because of the color of their skin, they died because of the hatred and meanness in the heart of that supposedly 20 year old murderer.

error posting (I thought the post belonged to Eyer I see now I was in error)
pls. ignore

Fucking hell. They're looking for the killer in the Columbia area right now. He last lived in Eastover.

Miss me with this bullshit.

I suggest you read the newsfeeds on Dylann Storm Roof and get caught up to date on reality.

Not to make light; but, if you name your kid Dylann Storm Roof, you're just asking for trouble.

It's past time we started searching white guys before we let them into places where groups of people gather. FFS.

I'm thinking if it's a rainy weekend I'm going to see this again and see Jurassic World, which I'm so excited for!

I loved that too. Everyone else in my family said it was just okay but maybe it's my love of all things Chris Pratt but I really enjoyed it.

A church is burning.

A church is burning
The flames rise higher
Like hands that are praying, aglow in the sky
Like hands that are praying, the fire is saying
“You can burn down my churches, but I shall be free”

Three hooded men thru the back road did creep
Torches in their hands, while the village lies asleep
Down to the church, where just hours before
Voices were singing and hands were beating
And saying “I won’t be a slave any more”

And a church is burning
The flames rise higher
Like hands that are praying, aglow in the sky
Like hands that are praying the fire is saying
“You can burn down my churches, but I shall be free”

Three hooded men, their hands lit the spark
Then they faded in the night, and they vanished in the dark
And in the cold light of morning, there’s nothing that remains
But the ashes of a Bible and can of kerosene

And a church is burning
The flames rise higher
Like hands that are praying, aglow in the sky
Like hands that are praying, the fire is saying
“You can burn down my churches, but I shall be free”

A church is more than just timber and stone
And freedom is a dark road when you’re walking it alone
But the future is now, and it’s time to take a stand
So the lost bells of freedom can ring out in my land

And a church is burning
The flames rise higher
Like hands that are praying, aglow in the sky
Like hands that are praying the fire is saying
“You can burn down our churches, but I shall be free”

Then you're totally missed. But answer me this question: Did he enter an NAACP meeting and shoot someone? Or an SCLC gathering?

No. He entered a church. At his core Roof has many problems, and I'm willing to bet he's also anti-religious among his many problems. He's has meanness in his heart and the devil in his soul.

He shot these people in CHURCH. These are terrible days we live in.
